The IDF(Israeli Defense force) is drawing up options for a strike on Iranian nuclear facilities that do not include coordination with the United States, The Jerusalem Post has learned.
That's both good news and bad news.
The good part is that the less the United states has to do with Israel's endless warmongering to protect themselves from the previous owners of the lands they now occupy, the better it is for us.
The bad part is that yet another Israeli "preemptive" attack will put us all that much closer to a world-wide confrontation. Too many Americans are failing to grasp the fact that Russia supports the Muslims and the Arabs in this fight over who owns what, and that Russia is rapidly regaining it's financial, military and political strength - while we are squandering ours - protecting Israel from it's Arab enemies.
The modern state of Israel could not have been created without massive support from the United States Federal government. It cannot continue to exist without massive - and endless - American support. That is reality. Israel simply does not have the industrial, financial or military capability to realistically support itself. That kind of support must - and does - come from America. So, the more America sinks into financial ruin, industrial disaster and toothless political influence, the more Israel's long term survival prospects melt away.
The erroneous belief that because the Jews now occupy these contested areas makes it a done deal is fatally flawed thinking, as flawed as believing Hitler's occupation of Paris made France a German territory. This is an on-going war that is far from over, and will one day be settled with however a large a war is ultimately required to eject today's Jewish occupiers out of these areas, or destroy those Arab States and populations that challenge the Jews and their occupation. As Russia regains it's position in world affairs, it becomes less and less inclined to allow it's Arab allies to be the victims in all this, and that's where the real danger lies. And where does China come down on this issue?
Contending that the area belongs to the Jews because of some claims of ownership three or four thousand years old is nonsensical. Imagine giving back all of New England to the Indians because of their far more recent claims of ownership, and yes, the Indians are tossing religion into the mix... It was/is "sacred" land.
However, recently the Jews and their American supporters are going into the "there was a war and we won" mantra, rather than the "God gave us the land for all eternity" sort of claim, which has been losing ground for some time as a justifier for their conduct.
Why? Because Conquest by war makes a far better argument than who owned what three of four thousand years ago, something that is important only to today's Jewish religious fanatic and his supporters, but nothing more than a point of historical interest to everyone else.
In the case of this particular land dispute, "everyone else" is the entire world, less the United States and England, two nations that were once uncontested world powers, but now fading into political and military mediocrity.
One must wonder what rising world power the Jews will hook the survival of Israel onto next in this apparently endless saga.
