Putting It All Out There

Armed and ready at the Bundy ranch. An omen of our future?

From Vox today:

"... I find it morbidly amusing that in the middle of a global economic downturn, with the world gearing up for a whole series of shooting wars and Americans openly arming to defend themselves against a corrupt federal government..."

;",,,Americans openly arming themselves against a corrupt federal government..."

Can't get much plainer that that.

Damn. Looks like I'm not going to be able to just get a bit older and die in peace.

An idea growing in popularity among some old fogies is to take a few corrupt bastards with you when you go. A patriotic gesture, sort of.  And a way to get into the history books. Not my cup of tea, but I'll bet some real money there a quite a few out there getting ready to do just that. And the fact that when someone is more than ready to die and/or with nothing to lose, they are almost impossible to stop.

An old world curse:"May you live in interesting times"

It just may be that those interesting times are almost upon us. .\\

The Massive Drop In Oil Prices

We are getting a short respite from this sort of piracy.

In my area, the cost of a gallon of gas has dropped from $3.61 to $1.93 as of yesterday, or $1.68 a gallon savings

 Marvelous. But why?

Simple when you think about it.

The  United States has recently become the second largest producer of crude in the world, supplying even more than Saudi Arabia. This is due to fracking, shale sands and the massive exploration and production  of crude by smaller companies on non-government lands, resulting in a plentiful supply of crude,

That's not what was dropped the cost.

The cost has been deliberately dropped by the huge energy conglomerates worldwide to the point where these new smaller American and Canadian suppliers will not be able to survive financially for more than six months. At that point in time, these smaller producers will collapse and the plan is to buy them up for pennies on the dollar - and then the price or crude will zoom back up.

The drop in the cost of gasoline is nothing more than a incredibly cynical and vicious move by those in positions of power: Bankers, Wall Street, corrupt politicians... the usual suspects, to keep a death grip on oil, to control its production, its delivery and its cost.

However, we can all enjoy the savings for the next six months.

Then, look out. These bastards will be back for their pound of flesh.

White Privilege

I've been reading a lot about a new catch phrase, "White privilege"

Too many people today have forgotten - or have never known - about the utter poverty and despair of millions of whites who have lived and died in America.

Whites are not - and have never been - immune to being at the bottom with no way out. The below photo reminds us all of that truth.

A point to consider from Jared Taylor:

"Most whites do not have a racial identity, but they would do well to understand what race means for others. Whites should also ponder the consequences of being the only group for whom such an identity is forbidden and are permitted no aspirations as a group."

Black Monday

From the Kansas Citian, a newspaper that advertises themselves as providing "News and Opinions on Issues That Impact Kansas City and the Nation" comes this front page photo:

Ever get that feeling in the pit of your stomach that things are spinning out of control?

When conduct such as this goes completely unchallenged, whats next?

Sort Of Expected

A distress signal, unknown, and unnoticed, by most Americans today.

My last two posts have been about one of our soon-to-be worldwide problems... safe drinking water.

Like the ancient mariner bemoaned:

"Water, water, everywhere, Nor any drop to drink."

Oceans full of water, salty. Rivers full of water, polluted, fresh water aquifers almost drained. Problems  - it seems -  most of us are blind, and/or tone deaf, to.

My readership count - small as it is - dropped like a stone when water became the subject. People are not searching for the subject of water, or water usage, or water shortage, or polluted water. Even the disastrous drought in California garners scant notice outside of the Imperial Valley.

Consider:

Obama and his ilk continue to demonstrate their deep-rooted hatred for America and European-Americans by promoting projects and programs to destroy it and them,

Feminists continue to push their efforts to turn all European-American males into eunuchs,

Educators continue to demonstrate their fear of America's desire for freedom and self-determination by promoting government controlled slavery,

The Fed and Wall Street continue to make every effort to milk the last dime out of our economy before it collapses,

The American-hating Mexicans believe they are winning back the American southwest with their "Reconquista",

Even the LGBT crowd continues their highly successful and hate filled quest to destroy the American family,

... all of this with the explicit approval and assistance from the American Congress, from Hollywood and the Media.

It seems there are so many developing challenges to America and it's lawful citizens about to reach the boiling point that drinking and cooking water are too so far down the list to notice.

The irony is that all those agenda-driven groups and their pet peeves and grievances will vanish like the mist in the morning sun when safe water goes away, when they - like the ancient mariner - can't find a drop to drink that won't sicken or kill them.

We are running out of safe water. Now that's a real crises,  and Obama, the Feminists, the Educators, the Fed, Wall Street, the LGBT crowd, Hollywood and the Media are far to busy with their agendas to even notice.

Hell of a deal.

Water Woes - Chapter Two

From the Sacramento Bee:

Officials say residents of a Central Valley community where hundreds of home wells have run dry can now take hot showers.
Andrew Lockman of the Tulare County Office of Emergency Service said Tuesday that they've brought in portable showers for residents of East Porterville. The ongoing drought has caused many of their shallow wells to run dry, forcing them to drink bottled water and bathe from buckets.
Lockman says they are worried about residents taking sponge baths during the cold winter.
He says people have to bring their own soap and towels to the portable showers, but for many it will be the first hot water they've felt in months.
Officials say the county is paying $30,000 a month for the showers set up in a church parking lot.
* * * * * * * * * *
As I mentioned in the previous post, California first.

Shown below is what one manufacturer calls its "luxury" version.

The not so "Luxury" version:

The two shown above are only examples. No photos available yet as to what the ones look like that they are using.

Yessir, lets all grab our soap and towels, some clean clothes, and waltz downtown to the parking lot for our Saturday weekly shower.

Where do you put your clothes after you remove them? Or do you wash them at the same time?

God help you if you have claustrophobia.

Water Woes

Clean, safe water on tap. Soon to be a luxury.

I've been serving on the Board of Directors for a WSC (Water Supply Corp.) supplying potable water to a small community on the outskirts of Dallas, Texas for several years now. In my position as a board member, it has become increasingly necessary to learn more and more on the subject of water.

What I have been learning is alarming.

After a lifetime of being able to go to the tap and get clean, safe water without effort or concern, I am beginning to realize that this convenience is soon to be a privilege, and an expensive one at that.

Every where on this planet, disastrous things are happening to our supply of fresh water.

Underground water reservoirs, known as aquifers, are being pumped out and depleted, mostly by huge food growers that provide a large percentage of what we eat. Most of the aquifers they are draining have taken thousands of years to fill and will be totally depleted in a few short years. some are already gone. You can see this happening in Arizona and California, States that have allowed the depletion of these sources that will not be refilled for centuries. Those massive farms will be forced to shut down. You will be able to watch first hand as California's economy collapses when that occurs.

A dead California farmland. This is happening NOW,
 not sometime in the future.

Just as alarming - if not more so - is the fact that we have been dumping all manner of poisons in the environment everywhere for decades, and now these poisons have reached down far enough through the soil to invade and contaminate our only drinkable water supplies.  There is no way to prevent what we have dumped in the past from reaching this water today.  Soon, every drop of water needed by humans to survive will  be required to go through a complicated process of  decontamination and purification. This will be expensive. Drinking and cooking water, water with which to wash our clothes and dishes will soon be sold by the gallon, just like gasoline or milk.

Drill a private well? forget it, you'll be pumping up the same poisoned water.

How about water from snow packs and rain?

You already see what's happening... weather patterns are changing, something we can do nothing about either. Caused by human introduced CO2?  It doesn't much matter at this point... our fresh water is already fatally compromised.

A dried-up reservoir. This photo could have been taken
almost anywhere.

The awful truth behind all this is that in trying to provide food and water for seven billion human beings, we have depleted and/or poisoned what fresh water is available worldwide. Poison and contamination runoff from our farms and stockyards, algae blooms in our lakes and rivers,  sewage dumped into rivers and lakes by uncaring cites and communities.

Right now - today - there are things in your water that your water supplier is not equipped to remove. If and when they do install the necessary equipment to guarantee the safety of your water, the price will go through the roof.

This is inevitable. The water is already mostly gone from the aquifers, and the billions of tons of poisons we have been throwing away haphazardly has already reached our underground reserves. Our only solution at this time and into the foreseeable future is massive filtration and purification.

Even oxygen levels are starting to fall what with billions of people, millions of vehicles, thousands of gas, coal and oil power plants all sucking up the available oxygen is now becoming a problem.

Anybody know how to manufacture oxygen?

Our planet cannot continue to support the tremendous number of humans that today are consuming and polluting on a scale almost beyond comprehension.

Does the government talk of this?  No.  They don't have a clue about what to do, other than to reduce the world population back down to a sustainable level, about 500 million or so, and do it soon enough to stop this disastrous process from continuing and/or growing.

However it is discussed, it is genocide on a scale unimaginable. No government on earth would dare propose such a move.

But what they are secretly planning to do - because it must be done - is a subject for another post.

Googles Atlas Robot

Cart before the horse:

From the article: (www.dailymail.co.uk)

The Atlas robot created by Google-owned firm Boston Dynamics is a formidable figure at 6ft 2in tall and weighing in at 330lb. The robot boasts 28 hydraulically actuated joints and stereo vision, and is one of the most advanced robots ever created.
According to Boston Dynamics, Atlas is a 'high mobility, humanoid robot designed to navigate outdoor, rough terrain. "Atlas can walk bipedally leaving the upper limbs free to lift, carry, and manipulate the environment. In extremely challenging terrain, atlas is strong and coordinated enough to climb using hands and feet, to pick its way through congested spaces.
Inspired by the speed of cheetahs, the endurance of horses, the maneuverability of monkeys, and the versatility of humans, IHMC researchers are on a quest to develop legged robots that are fast, efficient and graceful.'

* * * * * *
Yessir. Speed, endurance, maneuverability, versatility. Who are they kidding? These things need an 1 1/2" thick power/control cable cable hanging from the ceiling to move an inch. Various news media like to refer to this "Robbie the Robot" as "terrifying", "scary", "dangerous".

What a laugh.

They might as well say they have developed and spent all that money on an FTL (Faster-Than-Light) spaceship that would take us to Alpha Centuri in a few days or less... just as soon as they developed the warpdrive to do it.
Until they develop a power source than can be installed in these lab toys that will allow them to run for a few days(at least) without dragging a huge power cable along behind them from an accompanying semi truck with a mounted  generator and operating crew, Corporations like Google are just spending money for the fun of it.
Considering the universal aversion to things like nuclear power, the likelihood of such a power source now is zero and remote in the near future.
Asimov's positronic robots could run for centuries, but Asimov never discussed the power source needed for that, knowing that such a thing was impossible using today's technology. Asimov was far more interested in his robots brain power.
Even James Cameron. creator of the original Terminator in 1984, put development of his robot 50 years into the future.
So, these expensive and supposedly scary action dolls will not be seen on a street near you anytime soon.
Maybe in another century or so...

A Must Read for Us Evil Rightwingers

An article on the "Cultural Equality of Man".

It puts into clear focus the error of our ways. Go to:

www.fredoneverything.net

I  now understand why leftists are in a continual state of rage against us right-wing  Europhallocentric colonial males, or perhaps colonoheterophalloceuric supremacists.  Both definitions may fit.

Thanks to Fred, we can now see the dawn of our own understanding.

Really, if you have anyone in your sphere of influence that accuses you of being a  Europhallocentric colonial male, or perhaps colonoheterophalloceuric supremacist, or is in a continual state of rage because of  your opinions, attitudes or beliefs, you gotta go read the post.

Time to wake up and smell the coffee.

Just so long as the coffee is a Starbucks Latte.

Same Sex Marriage Takes A hit

The 6th circuit Court of Appeals has set the gears into motion for the United States Supreme Court to take up the same-sex marriage issue.

No more dodging the issue
From the WND article"
"A three-judge panel of the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on Thursday stunningly affirmed the rights of voters in four states – Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio and Tennessee – to define marriage as the union of one man and one woman, throwing a boulder into the millpond of complacent assumptions by homosexual-rights advocates that same-sex marriage is a given across the United States.
Previous rulings from the high court on the issue have found that the institution is necessarily defined as the union of one man and one woman. In 1942, it said marriage is “fundamental to the very existence and survival of the race.” In 1888 it ruled, “An institution in the maintenance of which in its purity the public is deeply interested, for it is the foundation of the family and of society, without which there would be neither civilization nor progress.”
* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
Oh-oh, the supreme court has already ruled once on this issue.  Said they: " the institution(of marriage) is necessarily defined as the union of one man and one woman. (marriage) is the foundation of the family and of society, without which there would be neither civilization nor progress.”
The next round should be most interesting.

Obligatory Post On Elections

New duty shift... Same Captain

OK, so the Republicans have taken over the Senate and increased their hold on the House.

Color me excited.

It reminds me of when I was in the Navy, we had duty shifts, one shift on duty, the other off. But, we were all a part of the same crew.

That's what the Democrats and Republicans are in Washington... all part of the same crew. It;s just that now the Republicans have the duty shift

Yawn.

Obama is still the Captain, still on the bridge, still steering the ship whichever way his fancy suits him, and he has announced to the new duty shift that we are to continue course, no changes, except to pick up a few million illegals and give them a free ride.

And us? We're down in the double bottoms worrying about the rising water.

Still Running

Good Question

Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressa

WESTON, Fla. (AP) -- A retired U.S. Marine who fought in Afghanistan returned home to Florida on Saturday after spending eight months in a Mexican jail for crossing the border with loaded guns, a case that led U.S. politicians to bring intense pressure on Mexico to release him.
Family spokesman Jon Franks said the private plane carrying Marine Sgt. Andrew Tahmooressi, his mother and supporters - including former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson - landed at a South Florida airport about 6 a.m.

I was watching the TV news and one of the talking heads asked what Obama had done to help get the release of this American citizen from the Mexican jail he had been held in for months.

Much mush-mouthery and double speak ensued, none of which answered the question: What did Obama do?

The answer is... he did nothing. And for certain nobody will ask WHY he did nothing.

Look at the above photo of the Sergeant.  The answer is staring you in the face.

Truth Is Stranger Than Fiction

A great  (un)American tradition, alive and well, better than ever before.

Problem Solved

We knew it would happen:

As many as 20 to 30 former Guantanamo Bay detainees released within the last two to three years are suspected by intelligence and Defense officials of having joined forces with the Islamic State and other militant groups inside Syria, Fox News has learned. The development has cemented fears that the U.S. military would once again encounter militants taken off the battlefield.

Not gonna happen.

Well now. This means that now ISIS has to feed and clothe them, provide some sort of shelter over their heads instead of us doing all that at Guantanamo and eventually sending them to New York to stand trial in some pitiful show trial funded by American taxpayers.

The big bonus for us with them rejoining their old buddies:

No longer potential money makers for lawyers, those who rejoined the terrorists have set themselves up a valid targets which we can send to their 60 virgins the next time we run across them.

When they were at Guantanamo, we didn't know what to do with them. They have solved that dilemma for us

If the Seals or Rangers or Green Berets need a little practice, send them in to hunt them down. Show their demise on TV and Facebook.

Good for our morale, bad for theirs.

Should Have Stuck To Peddling Burgers

Wendy Davis' Texas gubernatorial campaign relied almost 100% on a woman's "right" to abortion, including late term abortions, where the baby is often born alive and then killed by the doctor.

Apparently, not the best platform to run for political office with:

Wendy Russell Davis is on fire. And I don’t mean that in a good way.
I mean it in a five-alarm, set-her-own-skirt-aflame, billowing-human-torch kind of way. To say that Davis is smokin’ hot is not a compliment. It’s a campaign incineration status update.
The Democratic darling of the Hollywood Left and glamour gal of abortion thought her path to the Texas governor’s mansion would be a pink-sneakeredwalk in the park. Instead, her single-issue campaign has combusted.
The high point of Davis’ career came last year when she flamboyantly opposed state restrictions on late-term abortions in the wake of Philadelphia death-doc abortionist Kermit Gosnell’s baby-killing spree. Gosnell’s conviction provoked national revulsion at abortion gone wild. But Davis’ radical supporters at the Texas Capitol donned tampon earrings and waved uterus flags in solidarity with abortion rights at any cost. Planned Parenthood ghouls and celebrity femmes latched on to La Davis.
Militant gender identity politics, however, can only get you so far.
Davis’ gubernatorial bid the past month has been a series of unfortunate, cringe-inducing events exposing her empty soul. Last week, she insanely accused her opponent, Republican State Attorney General Greg Abbott, of wanting to ban “interracial marriage.” Abbott’s wife, Cecilia, is the Hispanic granddaughter of Mexican immigrants.
The week before, Davis ridiculed Abbott’s physical disability with a vulgar TV ad featuring an empty wheelchair. Abbott was paralyzed in 1984 when a tree fell on top of him while he was jogging. In response to a bipartisan backlash against her crass campaign insensitivity, Davis doubled down by attacking Abbott for lacking “empathy” — while she cynically surrounded herself at a damage-control press event with disabled human shields (one of whom had to bedragged away from the podium by a Davis staffer while the crowd waited in awkward silence for the next speaker).
To bolster her Girl Power bona fides, the Davis campaign disseminated a photo of young female “friends” posing on Twitter last week after voting for the Democratic candidate. The tweet carried the hashtag “#GenWendy.” Like, you know, “Generation Wendy.” The photo, however, turned out to be a pilfered image of young Virginia College Republicans getting out the vote for GOP gubernatorial candidate Ed Gillespie. “All out of support, Wendy?” a Virginia CR spokeswoman jibed. The “imaginary friends” of Wendy became a social media mockfest.
Desperate for positive press, Wendy welcomed New York City liberal Jon Stewart to Austin, Texas, for a last-ditch appeal on his comedy show Wednesday night. Quel appropriate: a professional clown propping up a miserable joke of a candidacy. Trailing in all the major polls, bleeding cash and abandoned by women voters by double-digits, Davis turned to Stewart to get out the vote andpump up anemic sales of her book, “Forgetting to Be Afraid.”
Stewart forgot to mention the trail of discredited autobiographical details Davis exploited to gain a national platform. The Dallas Morning News reported earlier this year that she “blurred” several “key facts” of her rags-to-riches story. As feminists hailed the single mother for putting herself through Harvard University while caring for two young daughters, it emerged that a second husband had taken custody of Wendy’s girls, cashed in his 401(k) and secured a loan to support her higher ambitions (before she divorced himon the day he finished paying off her college debts).
Which-Way Wendy tried to pivot from her biography botch by becoming a born-again Second Amendment rights advocate (after working to ban gun shows while serving on the Fort Worth city council).
And in the ghastliest turnaround since Linda Blair’s head spin in “The Exorcist,” No-Shame Wendy claimed she would support legislation banning abortions after 20 weeks—after vaulting into the national spotlight with her13-hour back-brace-and-comfy-shoes-aided filibuster on the Texas Senate floor last year against the very bill that would have outlawed late-term abortions and cracked down on filthy, dangerous abortion clinics like the one serial baby-killer Gosnell operated for 15 years thanks to shoddy government oversight and abortion-rights apathy.
Callous evil is as callous evil does.
The lady parts-obsessed liberal bet all her feminist marbles on her chromosomes. After Election Day, all Wendy Davis will have to show for it are well-coifed selfies and the ashes of her Vogue magazine fashion photo spread.

Thanks to Coloradan Michelle Malkin for this bit of hilarity. If you want to read all the highlighted stuff that Michelle uses as proof, go to michellemalkin.com

Was She Really Serious?

Or is she really that special kind of stupid?

Yessir... she knows who hired you, and it wasn't your employer!
I guess everybody works for the government.

Appearing at a Boston rally for Democrat gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley on Friday, Hillary Clinton told the gathered crowd not to listen to anybody who says that "businesses create jobs".

Said Clinton:
"Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs,”
And she wants to be president.

And there are those who will actually vote for her for no other reason than she is  a female, regardless of qualifications, or lack thereof.

Death Of A Planet

The below is a false color map of Mars taken by MOLA, the Mars Orbiting Laser Altimeter. Because of MOLA, we actually know more about Mars topography than we do of Earth.

The darker the color, the lower the altitude.

We now know that Mars once had a large ocean (the deep blue at top) and a useful atmosphere.

So what happened?

That huge dark blue crater was caused by an impact from a very large something. When it hit, it literally blew the Mars atmosphere into deep space. Without an atmosphere, the ocean rapidly "boiled" away into space.

I am told that the shock waves from the impact radiated away in all directions, meeting at the opposite side of the planet, creating the solar systems largest known volcano, Olympus Mons. It's not at the exact opposite of the impact crater, mass concentrations here and there slowed some of the shock waves, causing the volcano to erupt off-center.

And these shock waves were mind-boggling. They were like massive Tsunamis on Earths oceans, thousands of feet high, but consisting of dirt and rock instead of water, lifting and destroying everything on the surface as they sped around the planet,  to meet in yet another tremendous cataclysm where Olympus Mons is now, a twelve-mile-high monument to that day.

If there was life on Mars at the time - and there most likely was - it was most certainly extinguished almost instantly on that fateful day.

There is a fanciful theory that the Martians, seeing this monster of an impactor approaching,  built one or more - possibly many -  lifeboat spaceships and headed for Earth, giving Earths indigenous lifeforms a jumpstart to civilization.

Maybe the Martins were already here, and were a part of a two-planet civilization.

True or not, it's good stuff. It would make a good movie.

Gateway Boulevard

The government has been building this massive overpass a few miles east of Terrell (TX) for the last couple of years, modern, totally up-to-date, eight lanes wide, servicing what will be a divided four lane hightway, one that jumps over the railroad tracks and US80.

This image, from Google earth, shows that millions of dollars and two years of work has ended up with  this "overpass to nowhere". It is in a north-south orientation, and the new signs just erected say it is called "Gateway Boulevard".  That makes a bit of sense, since in America avenues generally run east-west, and boulevards run north-south.

But Gateway? From where? To where?

The upper bit of road that swings west turns into a narrow two lane access road that was used to transport most of the material needed to build this thing. Other that that, in both directions  this overpass leads to nowhere.

Remember a few years back they were talking of a proposed high speed truck route from the Mexican border to Kansas City? It was to haul freight from Mexico's "proposed" all new deeper ports designed to handle all the traffic from China, and then using Kansas City as a transfer point to everywhere else in the U.S.

Now I wonder if there are more of these new road structures dotted up and down the landscape from this one, eventually to be a part of this once proposed truck route.

If Mexico is building those new ports, they will shut down all our west coast ports that cannot service the newest freighters that draw too much water. Goodbye tons of jobs in L.A. and San Diego and who knows where else.

Yessir, Looks like our federal and state governments are doing their very best to protect American jobs and industry.

Maybe I'll search with Google earth and see if any more of these things are being built along a general north-south direction

Maybe not... I'm just curious.

Third Ebola Patient In Dallas

Now we have two secondary infections  caused by the Nigerian Thomas Eric Duncan, the man that brought the disease to us. We are told there will be more, since almost 75 nurses and aides were exposed to this despicable cretin who lied about having been exposed to an Ebola victim.

He carried his dying sister to the hospital twice in Nigeria, and lied about it when questioned at the airport.

OK, so he is/was a liar. Many more will lie  to gain entry to America and its vastly superior health system.

Is this now an epidemic?

When the rate of secondary infection from any disease is less than one,  the disease will die out. If the rate of secondary infection is more than one, it is then considered an epidemic.

With this new confirmed case of Ebola, the rate of secondary infection from Duncan is now more than one.

Figure it out for yourself.

Will it become a pandemic? That's the real question here.

But don't worry, the CDC says they have it all under control.

Riiiiight.

GREAT! Just Frigging Great!

DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Officials with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention have confirmed that a person in Dallas definitely has the Ebola virus. Tuesday’s official determination makes the patient, now isolated at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas, the first diagnosed Ebola case in the United States.

The above demonstrates a gruesome reality in today's medical  community. Way too many of our "doctors" should have had to repeat more than just one year, and many whose only options were to troll places like nursing homes for patients should have been washed out in the first place.

I think maybe those shown ended up at the CDC.

They are telling us to wash our hands and that the Ebola virus is spread only through bodily fluids.

So if nobody sweats, spits, coughs, pees or poops on any surface you may touch, and any food that was prepared by strangers that ends up on the dishes and flatware you may use - or put in your refrigerator - is handled only by people wearing gloves, masks and containment suits, well, hey... no problemo!

I'm sure most of you have watched as a bartender sloshed his dirty glasses in a  sink of murky water and wondered just how clean those glasses really got...

Restaurants are no different.  Effective cleansers and sanitizers  are expensive.

Seriously, just how insanely stupid are the gatekeepers? To let people in from an area aflame with a deadly disease?

And if a cure is found by today's profit mad drug companies, imagine how expensive it will be.

Last Of The More Obvious Indicators

Sort of like watching the ocean recede Waaaay out... just before the tsunami hits.

The super-rich are looking to protect their wealth through buying record numbers of "Italian job" style gold bars, according to bullion experts.
The number of 12.5kg gold bars being bought by wealthy customers has increased 243pc so far this year, when compared to the same period last year, said Rob Halliday-Stein founder of BullionByPost.
"These gold bars are usually stored in the vaults of central banks and are the same ones you see in the film 'The Italian Job'," added David Cousins, bullion executive from London based ATS Bullion.
The bars which are made from pure gold and are worth more than £300,000 each at today's prices of $1,223 (£760) an ounce. (From today's' Telegraph)

Yep... the super-rich are converting to gold. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why. Paper money everywhere is about to collapse.

If all your financial reserves are in paper, good luck.

At least you won't have to buy toilet paper for years to come.

The Birthing Pains Of Poverty

Ours.

With our present immigration polices, our country can be like
 this in short order.

The poor, uneducated, untrained and disease-ridden people streaming across our borders by the millions are coming from places like the above. They are coming because they want to share in the prosperity we have created for ourselves.

Unfortunately, they do not want to become like us. The vast majority of them want to keep their own languages, their own cultures, their own form of laws and government, their own heritage.  They just want what we have, things they cannot create for themselves in their own countries, so they're coming here to take it from us.

What they want to keep is what put them into poverty in the first place. Besides bringing themselves, they are bringing their culture of poverty and ignorance with them. And they are coming in such massive numbers they are impacting our prosperity in a hugely negative way.

There has always been just so much to go around, even in the once hard-working America. We have always had our own poor and downtrodden to contend with... long before the first illegal slipped across our border.

The conditions for prosperity are fragile. Sure, there might be some abstract sense in which the world would be a better place if everybody could just come to America and cash in on our hard labor and effort.

" But you start bringing in waves of actual people, people who are poor for actual reasons, and they bring those reasons with them, then the result is they will be  better off, certainly, but we won’t be."*

The United states federal government estimates we now have over 50 million "refugees" imported from failed states and failing nations. These millions have displaced millions of Americans in their homes and jobs, because the truth is that we never did have 50 million jobs begging to be filled.  The real and ugly truth is that for every immigrant who found a job, an American lost one.

Every  "refugee" we have allowed entry receives all manner of government support... Free schooling, free medical, rental assistance, food stamps - the list is long - and all paid nowadays by our massive national debt.

And  every American who has lost their job to an immigrant - legal or illegal -  becomes yet another welfare recipient living off the working taxpayer. This vicious cycle will soon collapse the system.

Then watch as the barrios, the ghettos and the slums grow exponentially in America.

We are facing a calamitous and massive invasion by the uneducated, untrained and diseased masses from states and nations that do not want them. If this is not stopped and reversed, America will collapse.

If you know someone who actually believed the ludicrous statement that there were jobs Americans just would not do, remind them it was made by a spoiled rich boy elite who never had to truly work for anything in his life, Bush the Lessor.  No doubt dear little George would rather starve than actually have to pump out  septic tanks for a living.

Another Obligatory Post

This time on the 2.8 million dollars "our" government spent trying to find out why lesbians are fat. It's in the news everywhere.

They are fat because they eat too much. The same exact reason anybody else is fat.

See? I could have saved the taxpayers 3 million dollars.

Granny Rides Again

I enjoy visiting Yellowdog Grannys blog. There is always a large batch of posters designed to inflame the average liberal who is always too busy to check facts.

One of her latest:

Anyone, after reading this bit of  far left propaganda, might want to blame Senator Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) for all those Kentucky woes.

Hmm. Let's look at that poverty rate. It's not "still 19%", it has gone up to 19.4%. Why? Well, 67% of their coal mining jobs are gone. That would certainly mean less jobs, more poverty. Where did those jobs go?

Now for a few of those pesky liberal-ignored facts:

The Sierra Club, on their web site, is doing some serious bragging about having helped to shut down 178 - one hundred and seventy eight - coal fired plants in the last few years, with the intention of seeing 345 - three hundred and forty five - more shut down ASAP.

And who is shutting them down? Our very own EPA under the direct orders of Barak Obama, who has directed the EPA to do so by using Executive Orders and bypassing Congress.

That's why Kentucky has lost 67% of their coal mining jobs, Fewer coal fired plants, fewer coal mining jobs required. More unemployed, more poverty. Funny how that works.

If Obama and his EPA stooges have their way, Kentucky will lose 100% of their coal mining jibs.

But that's not my point here.  Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell had nothing at all  to do with the loss of 67% of their coal mining jobs. That has been caused by Barak Obama and his deep green lackeys at the EPA.

Something to consider:

With 178 of our nations coal fired power plants shuttered, our reserves of electrical energy is at an all time low. If Obama and his EPA succeed in closing the remaining  345, this nation will not have enough electrical energy to make it through an average winter.  There will be many places with no heat and no lights, not for just a few hours, but for weeks at a time.

Remember:  This clueless president and his fanatical green followers at the EPA are replacing the plants they are closing with nothing but hot air about greener meadows and bluer skies.

Some boring facts:

* * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *

The North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), the electric reliability organization certified by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to establish and enforce reliability standards for three major electrical interconnections serving the United States, issues a reliability assessment each year.

NERC estimated in November 2012 that the United States would have 966 gigawatts (GW) of electric supply capacity available for the summer of 2013. NERC estimated that about 786 GW would be needed to meet projected peak electricity demand and determined that another 117 GW should be available in case of supply outages or extreme weather (known as target reserve supply).

The United States has 63 GW of capacity above and beyond the NERC target reserve supply. The level of above-target capacity varies by region: some areas have significant excess capacity and others are more constrained.

The above  estimates were as of 2012, when many of the now-closed coal fired plants were still in operation and on line.

Our reserves are now much lower, and if Obama and the EPA have their way, we will soon have no reserves at all.

Oh... You say you're not worried? That your furnace runs on natural gas? How about that big blower motor that distributes all that heated air out throughout your house?

It needs electricity. Lots of it.
