The Obamessiah

Too much... too much:
This is the moment . . . that the world is waiting for. I have become a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions.
This guy needs to be booted, to be laughed out of contention. What we don't need in this country is a modern-day Caesar, or worse, a modern-day supposed Messiah or Mohammad, overflowing with ego and whole-world ambitions.

Try to keep in mind the below photo of the Democrat's Messiah during one of his dress rehearsals as the returned Mohammad.

Obama And The Term "Tragic"

The media's "lightbringer", Barak Obama, panders shamelessly to the "native Americans" at the incredibly racist UNITY '08 Convention in Chicago:
There's no doubt that when it comes to our treatment of Native Americans as well as other persons of color in this country, we've got some very sad and difficult things to account for.
Keep in mind that when Obama - and other minorities like him - talk of all the misdeeds and bad things done by America in the past, it is always white Americans they are talking about. Why in the world does he say "our" and "we", when he really means "their" and "them"?

Said Obama:
I personally would want to see our tragic history, or the tragic elements of our history, acknowledged.
What crap. What complete crap. He talks like it has been kept a huge national secret all these years, instead of a front page issue for decades, with literally millions of white Americans working tirelessly to correct those past injustices, while most minorities spent their time bitching and whining - being totally negative - instead of getting off their butts and doing something positive. Now there's tragedy for you.

Someone should make Obama tell us publicly who he is trying to vilify when he drags up all those "tragic" things from the nation's past, while neglecting to even mention that it is the white race in America that corrected all those "tragic" misdeeds. It is white America that has created an atmosphere in which a black man - even a racist one - could run for president.

Whens the last time you saw some poor black slave out in the cotton fields, laboring away under the whip of some evil slave owner? This is the kind of mental picture of America that Obama is continually painting as he panders to minorities.

Simple-minded whites that continue to cheer and applaud this man seem to have no clue that he is dredging up the past as a weapon to use against them, splitting in their faces... over and over.

Obama is running for president using race as a major factor for success, using the ills of the past and resulting generated white guilt as a stepping stone to the Oval Office.

Truly sad, when you stop and think about it. Tragic, really.

Around The Bend for Sure

Nancy Pelosi is trying to save the world.

How, one might ask, is this century's Nancy Drew - girl hero - going to do this? By preventing new oil drilling a hundred miles off the coast of California. That's how.

It's is truly amazing how too much power makes people go totally nuts.

Save the world? What a joke. It's astounding that she would make such a patently stupid remark publicly, but she did.

Maybe she should start out by trying to save California from all those forest fires. You know, start with the small stuff and work her way up to the entire world.

Scared For their Miserable Lives

Not without my brigade of bodyguards:
WASHINGTON - Vice President Cheney's invitation to address wounded combat veterans next month has been yanked because the group felt his security demands were Draconian and unreasonable.

The veep had planned to speak to the Disabled American Veterans at 8:30 a.m. at its August convention in Las Vegas.
People like Bush and Cheney will never walk the streets of America - anywhere - for the rest of their natural lives without a platoon of SS goons encircling them, for they know the things they have done while in office guarantees them - at the very least - a really good ass kicking when they become ordinary citizens again.

They will hide for the rest of their lives from the very people they were supposed to represent while in office.

The next administration will be no different. McCain or Obama, the results will be the same. Doublecross... and then hide forever.

The Unity Convention

Something called the Unity Convention is meeting in Chicago right this minute. According to CNN, it is a gathering of African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asians, and Native Americans. Glaringly missing from this collection of "Americans" is White Americans, except for Susan Malveaux, CNN's twittering interviewer of Barak Obama, who was a guest of honor at this shindig.

Susan Malveaux's fawning over Obama was just plain embarrassing, but not the subject of this piece. The subject is one of those minority groups, those "Native" Americans, the ones living out their dismal lives on several hundred small but independent "Sovereign Nations" scattered around the United States.

Obama said he was most concerned about those poor Indians, who - according to him -have the highest poverty rate, the highest drug abuse and the highest unemployment - of any group in America.

So he wants an annual meeting with all the Chiefs of all those little-bitty Sovereign nations inside our borders, so they can "talk" about what to do.

Did you know that if an Indian chooses to stay on the reservation(their little sovereign nation), the American taxpayer will support him his entire life? Geronimo won't have to lift a finger to support himself. He has total federal government support from birth to death, all paid for by us taxpayers. All he has to do is stay on the reservation. He'll get free medical and dental. They have their very own hospitals, free glasses, free doctor visits. They even have their very own schools and colleges - all free - and all provided by the taxpayer. Good luck trying to get your kid into one of them. Included in this Socialist Utopian package is also an all-paid education through college, again paid for by the taxpayers.

These people, these lifelong dependents of government largess, have - according to Obama - the highest poverty rate, the highest drug abuse and the highest unemployment in America.

And no wonder. They are not required to lift a finger to survive. Uncle Sam has taken care of it all. Do that to any sub-group and they will end up the same. No incentive, no reason to excel. So they sit on their asses, drink themselves into a stupor, chew on their peyote and occasionally go herd some sheep. Every now and then, the younger ones go hop on a horse(not native American) and play pretend warrior.

They exist in a world of total dependence. No wonder they - as a race - have failed so utterly. Most of the few who do take advantage of their free education end up in Washington, lobbying for more handouts, remaining true to their heritage, that of blood-sucking leeches.

One must assume that the Indians have never figured it out, that the official U. S. Government position was - and is - to keep them down on the reservation and totally dependent on handouts. That would keep them in line. It has worked quite well.

However, credit where credit is due, some Indians are actually trying to break this vicious cycle of dependence and poverty, an uphill battle if ever there was one. They just need to realize that they can't have it both ways.

Then there are the rest of the American "whatevers" at that convention. Just as bad, just as grasping, just as demanding. but take note of what CNN said about Asians... they said "Asians", not "American Asians".

I suppose that's because even CNN realizes that most Asians have a totally different work ethic. They generally believe that hard work is the best way to get what they want, but are not above snatching up any of those freebies that stupid old Uncle is so fond of passing out.

As long as we keep passing out all these goodies - nationally and internationally - there will be a long line of opportunists with their hands out, more than willing to bleed us dry... and walk off laughing.

Want to return the Indian to his former status and glory? Get rid of the reservations, they are sinkholes of suppression and despair. Make them full U.S. citizens just like the rest of us, work-for-a-living and taxpaying property owners. Enough of this "Till the rivers run dry" treaty crap.

It's really that simple.

Sick... Just Plain Sick

How much more hyped up can this guy get? Don't know if this was photo shopped, or whether Obama actually posed for this.

If he really posed for it, he is definitely being consumed by his own ego.

Of Things To Come

Lord help us all:
The U.S. Senate soon could debate whether you, your spouse and each of your children – as well as your in-laws, parents, grandparents, neighbors and everyone else in America – each will spend $2,500 or more to reduce poverty around the world.
The plan sponsored by Sen. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, is estimated to cost the U.S. some $845 billion over the coming few years in an effort to raise the standard of living around the globe.
Well hell yes. As American taxpayers, it's our job to raise the rest of the worlds standard of living while destroying our own.

And this free-spending(your money) Socialist loonie isn't even the president yet. If this doesn't turn you off from Obama, plan on enjoying your upcoming third-world status.

The Real European Take On Obama

And so it begins:
And it came to pass, in the eighth year of the reign of the evil Bush the Younger (The Ignorant), when the whole land from the Arabian desert to the shores of the Great Lakes had been laid barren, that a Child appeared in the wilderness.
You must read this , it's hilarious!

And a bit scary.

Stock Up, People

More and more bad news:
July 24 (Bloomberg) -- U.S. stocks tumbled, sending financial shares to their worst drop in eight years, after home sales slid more than forecast and investor Bill Gross predicted the housing slump will cost banks and brokerages $1 trillion.
No doubt the feds will try to pass this trillion-dollar loss off on to the taxpayers, while the heads of those bank and brokerage firms slip off into the sunset with their multi-million-dollar golden parachutes.

Stock up on what, you ask?

Rope.

Terminate Those High Wages

Get em, Arnold:
SACRAMENTO (AP) - Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger is threatening to pay thousands of state employees the federal minimum wage of $6.55 an hour until lawmakers reach a deal on California's overdue state budget.
Not a bad idea, since most of them are only worth about half that when push comes to shove.

A lazier, less motivated bunch would be hard to find than a typical gaggle of state employees... pick any state... doesn't matter. But - in their defense - some state employees sometimes put in a good thirty minutes of real work almost every day.

A few have even been known to crack a sweat on extremely rare occasions, although no real evidence of such an event has ever been presented.

Imagine all those state workers having to get along on the same level of income that millions of Americans do. The resulting wave of misery would be biblical in scope. All the wailing, and the moaning, and the sad song singing we would have to suffer through. Biblical, I tell you, biblical.

First Pelosi... Now Reid

Another fool to flush:
WASHINGTON – Asked if he thinks he has the votes to block legislation lifting the moratorium on offshore oil drilling, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said: "We will have to wait and see."

Wait and see?

Reid and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi oppose lifting the ban on domestic oil drilling – and they are hoping the American people will just quietly accept gas prices topping $5 a gallon or even higher.
This man - just like Pelosi - is so out of touch with reality. He should be committed.

What I will "quietly accept" is his - and Pelosi's immediate resignations. They have both completely lost it.

More Bad Signs

A Wall Street Journal columnist has advised people to "start stockpiling food" and an ABC News Report says "there are worrying signs appearing in the United States where some … locals are beginning to hoard supplies."

Now there's concern that the U.S. government may be competing with consumers for stocks of storable food.

Great... just great. Who in government is authorizing these purchases? Under what justification? What department of the government is doing the buying? Where are they stashing all this storable food?

What are the feds worried about that they are not telling us?

Joke Of The Day

WILKES-BARRE, Pa.:
Republican John McCain on Wednesday credited the recent $10-a-barrel drop in the price of oil to President Bush's lifting of a presidential ban on offshore drilling, an action he has been advocating in his presidential campaign.
Foot-in-mouth big time.

The reason the cost of oil is dropping is because - nationwide - we are using less, and demand is down. It has nothing to do with Bush lifting his Dad's offshore drilling ban, since the ban dictated by Congress is still in force.

And Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the House, is still refusing the House an opportunity to vote on the issue. One woman, full of bad ideas, putting the brakes on our entire nations effort to break the foreign oil stranglehold on us.

Even those sunny-day Californians who put her into office should possess enough mental acuity to get rid of her when her time comes.

At least one can hope.

Off The Oil Nipple

In an interview with Bloomberg TV's "Money and Politics" last night, Sen. Maria Cantwell, D-Wash., explained Democrats don't want to increase supplies of oil and gasoline because they want to wean Americans off of petroleum products.

Senator "no more oil for you" Maria Cantwell, D- Wash.

Asked point-blank if Democrats in the Senate would consider how increasing the supply of oil would lower the prices that are pinching U.S. consumers, Cantwell replied:
Oh, we definitely want to move beyond petroleum. And so there will be a supply side offered by the Democrats and it will include everything from battery technology to making sure that we have good home domestic supply, and looking, as I said about moving faster on those kind of things like wind and solar that can help us with our high cost of natural gas.
Has the Senator given any thought over to the fact that it will take many years and trillions of dollars to convert from oil to anything else? For example:

What will it take for Americans to convert to battery operated vehicles?

We will need to replace millions of gasoline powered cars with electric cars that presently don't exist - except for a few hybrid samples - cars that will cost many thousands of dollars each. That means you will have to scrap the cars you now own... literally scrap, since they will be outlawed from our highways. That, or park it in your back yard and watch it rust away. Has the Senator considered the huge cost of replacement? And the financial loss we will all face when our present cars are outlawed? What if you still owe 20 or 30 thousand dollars on your nice gasoline powered car when it's outlawed by this bunch of flakes? It won't be worth a tinker's damn.

Charging up all those electric car batteries up will take THREE TIMES AS MANY power plants as we have today, and since this Senator and her buddies won't let us use oil, those plants will need to be run on coal or nuclear. Some say that these new plants can be run on natural gas. Consider the pipeline system that will be required to get that natural gas to all those new plants. Thousands and thousands of miles of huge new pipelines.

Regardless of their fuel source, those new plants will cost billions and take years to build, and consider the fact that nobody wants one built in their back yards. Plant placement will involve years of litigation and delay. Has the Senator considered the cost - and time line - on those new power plants?

Maybe we can all have solar panels installed on our roofs? You bet. The cost of such a system - panels, converters, power storage, installation - places it completely out of reach for the average car driving home owner... more than the cost of your present average(not California) home.

Delivering all that additional power to those millions of electric cars will require a power grid that can handle three times the present load. Today's national power gird would simply overload and collapse. New power lines across the nation - three times more capable than the ones today - will take years to build and many more billions of dollars. Do you suppose the Senator considered any of this before she opened up her deep green mouth?

So... this wide-eyed, Pollyannish Senator and her good buddies refuse to allow for more oil supplies to be delivered to us to keep us afloat while we design, build and distribute a new transportation system that that will eventually replace the gasoline powered car.

And that's just for automobiles, folks. How about the rest of our economy, our plants, factories, businesses, farms, etc., that today depend on oil to operate and survive?

Good grief. Let's dump these fools this coming election cycle and replace them with people who use their heads for something other than a hat rack.

We will eventually "move beyond petroleum", but it will take years, and until we do, we need oil to keep our economy and our nation on the move.

Right now, we need all the oil we can get our hands on, but this myopic Senator and her gaggle of beltline cohorts would rather watch us strangle to death on foreign oil than allow one new oil well in America.

Toss 'em out... all of them.

Pleasing Both The Arabs And Jews?

Now here's an impossible task. A headline from the Daily News:
BARACK OBAMA FACES TOUGH TASK TO PLEASE BOTH ARABS & JEWS ON MIDEAST
Obama recently declared - to a private gathering of Jewish lobbyists - that Jerusalem should be the undivided capital of Israel. His immediate back-pedal about that statement to the rest of the world has created confusion over the candidate's position on the bitter Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

One must wonder if Obama had erroneously concluded that his statement would be kept private and confidential by those Jewish lobbyists. It may be his first real hard lesson about the Jews: They have no honor other than to themselves.

Bottom line: He needs to be trying to please us Americans, not those endlessly warring Jews or Arabs. They have chosen their own paths of endless conflict. We Americans have no need to be involved in their chosen fates, and we must have a president and Congress that understands that.

Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn), who is strongly leaning toward Republican John McCain, predicted Obama will lose Jewish votes. "What does he really stand for? What does he really believe?" Hikind asked.

There are far less Jewish votes in America than any other minority, so losing them is of little consequence. The Jews depend totally on their pro-Israeli propaganda through our media to swing an election to the most pliable candidate. Ignore that propaganda and the Jews become toothless. They will - of course - collapse our money system in retaliation, but it's already collapsing, so the sooner the better... for a much needed overhaul.

And as far as what Obama stands for, I would like to think he stands for America first, everybody else a distant second.

Or is Obama already in the pockets of AIPAC and Israel? If so, then we Americans have no real choice in this next presidential election.

We can do better than these two. We MUST do better. America desperately needs an American to run for president.

Obama-Mania

An official in Chancellor Angela Merkel's office told Reuters, while at the same time requesting anonymity:
There is a sort of Obama-mania in Germany right now, but I think a lot of people will have their illusions shattered if he does become president.
The governments of Berlin, Paris and London are wary of his inexperience and evolving policies, and fear the euphoria is overdone.

The German Chancellery is said to radiate unease with Obama's cult-like following... and skepticism about whether he can live up to the hype.

It's like I said further down the blog, Europeans do not cotton to blacks with power - never have - and see Obama's pop-star following as a wave of support for his presidency that will quickly disappear when the newness wears off, leaving America with a president it should not have elected. Even if McCain wins, we will still end up with a president we should not have elected.

It is most puzzling why the Democrats have chosen this obscure nobody that is giving McCain - another total loser - so much undeserved credibility. Almost any nationally known Democratic figure would have buried McCain by now. This presidential election should have been a slam-dunk for the Democrats, but amazingly, the two candidates are neck-and-neck in a race where any real competition never materialized. Hillary? Puh-leaze... a fad candidate that really never had a chance.

It makes me a bit worried that what I said previously just might be correct: The political heavyweights are apparently sitting this one out, that no real big guns in either party want to be president this go-round, since the next president will be presiding over an America that collapses under the incredible burdens that Washington has created(the list is long and dismal), and will go down in history as the worst one-term president ever. Why? Becuase the president - not Congress - always gets the blame. Why? Because we're all too busy with ourselves to take more than a minutes notice.

So we have two zeroes vying for the top job, not because either one will accomplish anything, but because they both want the prize, to win only for the sake on winning.

Obama was right once again, but for the wrong reason...

America does deserve better.

You Gotta Be Kidding

What a laugh:
Obamania is all the rage ahead of next week's visit to Berlin, Paris and London by a man described in newspapers as a "John Kennedy of our time" and Europe's champion in the race for the White House.
This guy is no John Kennedy... not even close.

I am wondering just who - in those European papers - is actually describing Obama as another Kennedy. Or is it just another fabrication by our untrustworthy media?

And what's with this "Europe's champion" nonsense?

Europe has far less tolerance for blacks in positions of power than America does. They have so much less respect for blacks at any level that one must wonder why Obama is even making the trip. It could easily backfire on him, and if it does, we probably won't hear a thing, other than filtered and sanitized pap.

More Nonsense

Researchers - I use the term loosely - are claiming that an anti-malarial agent in Africans increase their susceptibility to AIDS. Along those same lines, just a few days ago, "researchers" claimed that global warming was causing more kidney stones.(see a bit down the blog).

I suspect that the increased incidence of AIDS in Africa is more a result of their "sex with anything that moves" attitude than anything to do with malaria.

The term "researcher" used to provide a kind of mantle of respectability and knowledge to the person it was applied to.

Not so any more. Nowadays it usually means "quack in a white lab coat".

Pelosi Needs The Boot

A classic story of self-serving politics:
Upon entering Congress in 1987, Representative Nancy Pelosi quickly became part of the solid California front against oil drilling along much of the nation's coast.

She repeatedly resisted oil drilling in marine sanctuaries off the state's coast near her San Francisco district and, after joining the Appropriations Committee, was an advocate of reinstating the coastal drilling ban through spending restrictions each year.
Now, with gas prices soaring, those drilling restrictions are facing their most severe test in years as calls intensify to more aggressively pursue domestic oil, but Pelosi - whose political fortunes are anchored in her anti-drilling stance -is not budging. Said Pelosi recently:
The president of the United States, with gas at $4 a gallon because of his failed energy policies, is now trying to say that it is because he couldn't drill offshore. That is not the cause, and I am not going to let him get away with it.
Her voice carries considerable weight since, as speaker, Pelosi is in a position to prevent a vote on expanded drilling from reaching the floor.

She blames the president and his "failed" energy policies. What she didn't mention is that she has been a major factor in preventing any of those policies from becoming law. In other words, she's blaming the president for all those potholes in the road, the very potholes she's been digging for years and years.

So. The cats out of the bag. Nancy Pelosi is - and has been for years - a huge part of our oil supply problem. Doesn't matter who owns the oil leases, if they are prevented from drilling, we end up exactly where we are today.

Simple to understand...An oil spill off the coast of California in 1969 plus Nancy Pelosi's lust for political power has put us where we are.

Simple question: What's more important... Nancy Pelosi's political career... or our oil supplies?

Get rid of Pelosi... she is a HUGE roadblock to our ability to access our own oil, and apparently - according to her own words - the biggest roadblock.

No doubt that this woman will happily accept $20/gallon+ gasoline rather than giving up her power. And the grief that it will cause you? She could care less.

Obama Is Right

Barak Obama on Iraq:
Iraq distracts us from every threat that we face and so many opportunities we could seize.

This war diminishes our security, our standing in the world, our military, our economy and the resources that we need to confront the challenges of the 21st century. By any measure, our single-minded and open-ended focus on Iraq is not a sound strategy for keeping America safe.
It was not a strategy to protect America in the first place. It was a strategy to eliminate yet another of Israels many enemies, and had nothing whatsoever to do with confronting and bringing to justice the terrorists that attacked America on 9-11. Senator Obama also said that:
The central front on terrorism was Afghanistan and Pakistan, adding that it should be apparent to President George Bush and presumptive Republican nominee John McCain as well.
He is correct. Our single-minded and open-ended focus on Iraq is not a sound strategy for America. It was - and is - a strategy to keep Israel safe from the enemies they themselves have created, a strategy forced on us by Israeli lobbyists, who are in turn controlled by Israel.

What he did not say - but should have said - is that both Bush and McCain are nothing more than willing cogs in this powerful and well-funded Israeli machine that controls our federal government and our entire foreign policy. Both Bush and McCain know this. They always have, just as everyone in our federal government knows. But they - all of them - have sold their souls to the highest bidder. The lust for money and the craving for power has overcome them, as it has those men and women in our Congress that have sold us out, the very people who have tossed America "Under the bus". A fair number of them claim to believe that it is some sort of religious destiny they are acting out, a pitiful excuse beyond the pale.

Bush sent us into Iraq - not to confront Osama Bin Laden and his band of terrorists - but to search for possible WMD's, the idea of which had Israel so frightened, and to eliminate Saddam, their perceived number one enemy at the time. We now know there were none, and Saddam is dead. So Israel is happy, but we are stuck neck deep in this Iraqi quagmire that Israel would have us stay in forever, to protect them from the consequences of their own actions, to satisfy their own self-interests. Being the good little puppet that he is, McCain will try to keep us there until the end of time.

Meanwhile, our enemies grow in numbers, training and strength where they have always been... Afghanistan.

So, Obama is 100% correct. Iraq was - and is - a poor strategy for keeping America safe. We have spent trillions of dollars, lost thousands of lives and crippled our economy... so the Israelis could get a good night's sleep.

George W. Bush has either reluctantly or enthusiastically - which one matters not at this point - supported and promoted the Israeli government's wishes concerning the Middle East, the results being nothing short of disaster for America.

Time to eliminate this Israeli influence - this "Israel first" attitude so prevalent in our Congress and this administration - and put America's interests first.

So, If Obama is truthful in his statements about leaving Iraq totally, and sooner rather than later, voting for him in November is a first step in reclaiming our government.

The Jews have the money and the media influence to control our Congress, but they don't have the votes.

We do. Let's use them.

My name is Bob... and my wife approved this message.

Finally... Something To Blame!

Got kidney stones?

Well now, they may have been caused by Global Warming!

Actually, I'm a bit embarrassed that it was a gaggle of Texans that came up with this. Since I am currently a resident of Texas, this babble may end up reflecting negatively on me in some form or another.

I would have felt much better if this had been announced by some sun-bleached flake from UCLA, but noooooo... Alfred E. Texan and his buddies wanted a little face time.

Three Cheers For The New Yorker Magazine

We have an uproar over the above satirical cover of the latest New Yorker magazine. Why? Compared to the host of political cartoons about Bush over the years depicting him in every negative way imaginable - without any uproar from anybody - the response to this one about the Obamas is pathetic.

Think this is bad? Just wait until he gets into the Oval Office for real, and everybody discovers he's a sail full of wind.

Personally, I got a chuckle out of it... it's free speech at it's best, a political commentary about right-wing fears that completely avoids race and sex. It may be all smoke and mirrors, but it may also be a subtle warning about where their alliances may truly lie.

After all, Michelle is known to be buddy-buddy with the Nation of Islam, a very black organization promoting the idea that several southern states should be given over to the black race for its very own nation - over our dead bodies if need be - And Barak's Mom and Dad were both known to be anti-white and anti-American in many ways.

It took guts to publish this spoof about the "lightbringer", the man who will save America, the candidate with ALL the answers.

Let's all hope that the New Yorker cartoon is in reality just a spoof about right-wing fears... and not a prophetic omen of things to come.

More Bush Stupidity

Just watched the president make a big hoo-ra speech about how we're in tough times, but how everything is going to work out just fine. At the same time, CNN had a small window in the lower right corner of the TV showing the stock market nose diving, live and in color.

Bush's solutions to everything?

Better mortgage legislation.

Better trade legislation.

Better energy legislation.

Better banking legislation.

Bush's answer? Better regulation.

And about his wars? His solution is more money - vast amounts of money without any strings attached - and NO Congressional oversight.

And - of course - he blamed the Democrats in Congress for all our problems, for not passing all that "better legislation", for not passing all those bills to finance his public war in Afghanistan, his private war in Iraq, and his attempts to start up another war in Iran... without asking any questions.

According to Bush, better legislation will solve the energy crisis, the cost of crude oil, the cost of gasoline. Better legislation will solve the inconvenience of two million American families losing their homes. Better legislation will eliminate greed and avarice in the banking industry. Better legislation will solve our disastrous trade imbalance with the rest of the world. We will win the war on terror by providing limitless and unaccountable money, by allowing him to pick yet another fight or two with anybody he dislikes. What the hell, why not? it's our kids dying in those desert sands, not his.

Watching Bush talk is a lot like shoving your finger down your throat. Both activities make you want to puke.

More Banks Near Collapse?

Stocks take a big hit as more and more bad news about banks in serious trouble... and that over 300 additional banks are in serious danger of collapse.

The feds keep tossing more and more money out(borrowed from China and elsewhere) to rescue banking firms that have demonstrated a complete lack of good fiscal sense. How many more bank failures will it take before the federal government - already in debt up to its ears - can no longer help? How much more debt pressure can the dollar take?

What happens when China - already worried about the collapsing dollar - will no no longer finance our federal government and its insane spending? What happens when China - and other nations that have loaned us trillions - call in their notes? How much of our federal land in America will they take possession and ownership of to satisy these debts? How much federal property will they confiscate as their own? How much of America has Bush and his cronies put up as collateral for all this borrowed money? Don't think for a second that those foreign lenders didn't demand some real collateral... namely huge chunks of American land and natural resources.

I have a bad feeling we are about to find out.

New Missiles, Old Missies

They now tell us that Iran's big missile demonstration was a dog and pony show, that they used older missiles, even perhaps older videos of previous launches, plus - heaven forbid - doctored photos.

The below photos show an obviously doctored top photo in which a failed rocket was replaced with a duplicate shot of the rocket to its right. Just look at and compare the ground smoke patterns on the right-hand side of the of the two missiles on the right... identical.

Yup... a doctored photo... piece of cake nowadays with a computer.

However, a fact being totally ignored is that Iran did launch one advanced version of the Shahab-3 missile, the one capable of hitting Israel, and that it was a complete success.

Ok. Consider... they have a limited number of these new advanced missiles, so they need to test it to make sure it's operational. They launch one in the midst of a flurry of older missile launches, and at the same time release both the original and doctored photos of the older missiles, to keep the world press all a-dither and off-subject.

Seems like it worked out great. They got a successful launch of their latest advanced missile. There's the real message to Israel - they are now in range.

I am wondering why we are being swamped with useless blabber about older missiles and doctored photos, when we should be mulling over the fact the Iran can indeed hit Israel with an unknown number of advanced missiles, missiles far more improved over the old SCUD's Saddam had. They may even use our very own worldwide GPS system - for extreme accuracy - to actually hit whatever target they aim at, the same system used by our satellite guided bombs.

Insult to injury... using our GPS system to accurately hit critical targets in Israel.

That's probably why they launched only one advanced Shahab-3 missile... every one they have possibly represents a destroyed Israeli target. Why waste them in a pretty light show?

If Iran has more advanced Shahab-3 missiles than Israel has patriot-style interceptors, it's going to be a really bad day for Israel, regardless of the damage that may be done to Iran's nuclear facilities caused by an Israeli air strike. And if Iran already has a nuclear warhead or two purchased(with our oil money) from one of our several antagonists to put on a Shahab-3, Katie bar the door.

Black Hole

Simulated view of a black hole in front of the Milky Way. The hole has 10 solar masses and is viewed from a distance of 600 km.

The first thing that comes to mind when somebody well schooled and intelligent says "Black Hole" is an object like the one depicted above, a stellar body so dense that not even light escapes it.

Not so in Dallas. From the City Hall Blog at the Dallas Morning News:
A special meeting about Dallas County traffic tickets turned tense and bizarre this afternoon.

County commissioners were discussing problems with the central collections office that is used to process traffic ticket payments and handle other paperwork normally done by the JP Courts.

Commissioner Kenneth Mayfield, who is white, said it seemed that central collections "has become a black hole" because paperwork reportedly has become lost in the office.

Commissioner John Wiley Price, who is black, interrupted him with a loud "Excuse me!" He then corrected his colleague, saying the office has become a "white hole."

That prompted Judge Thomas Jones, who is black, to demand an apology from Mayfield for his racially insensitive analogy.

Mayfield shot back that it was a figure of speech and a science term.
Why is it both blacks did not know or understand what a Black Hole actually was?

Commissioner Price went so far as to call the office a "White Hole". Now isn't that just as racially insensitive as Black hole?

Actually, much more so, since Price the was the one who injected race into the conversation, and then referred to the office as a "White Hole". Black Judge Thomas Jones, obviously another racist, should have demanded an apology for Price's racially insensitive analogy when he referred to a "White Hole".

Pure black on white racism... and totally intentional. Fire both of the racist blacks. No free pass due to color.

So Who's Disappointed?

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice expressed disappointment Wednesday at Russia's reaction to Washington's plans to install part of a missile defence shield in eastern Europe. Sez she:
I'm sorry to say it was predictable, if disappointing, given all the effort both US Defense Secretary (Robert) Gates and I have made to offer to the Russians significant ways for transparency, confidence and for cooperation.
She's disappointed? Well, cry me a river. Who on planet earth would have any confidence in what she or Gates have to say about anything? They are both puppets on a string.

Just what sort of effort have the two been laboring over in order to "offer" something significant to the Russians? Can't be much more than tossing around a few half-baked ideas(they're not working) in some conference room or office in Washington.

**Post Soviet reality? Can't have that. Stir it up, girl!**

Somebody ought to tell her how "disappointed" the entire planet is in her... And her total failure to accomplish anything of note, anything worthy of more than a passing note in history about her sex and race.

Bush Is Buggering Us Again

No surprise here:
Russia tonight threatened to retaliate by military means after a deal with the Czech Republic brought the US missile defence system in Europe a step closer.

The threat followed quickly on from the announcement that Condoleezza Rice signed a formal agreement with the Czech Republic to host the radar for the controversial project.

“We will be forced to react not with diplomatic, but with military-technical methods,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The claim is that this missile system will not target Russia, but will act as a safeguard for Europe against regimes such as Iran.

What in the world are we doing here? Using our tax dollars and our equipment to protect EUROPE from Iran? Let the Europeans - very few of whom like us anyway - defend themselves from Iran.

Ask yourself... Just how is Iran a threat to Europe?

Go look at a world map. You will see that Poland and the Czech Republic is NORTH and EAST of Europe, while Iran is way SOUTH and EAST of Europe. What we have is a triangle, the left bottom point being Europe, the right bottom point being Iran, and the top of the triangle is where the missile system would sit, way up in the north forty, as they say, far off the beaten path. You may also notice that the system is being placed smack on Russia's western doorstep. The Russians have noticed that also.

If we were really building a missile system to protect Europe from Iran, we'd put it somewhere much further south, maybe Turkey, to effectively intercept the flight paths of those Iranian missiles.

It's all insane. And we're paying for it. Not only with our tax dollars, but with an highly elevated risk of war with Russia. And that war would be nothing like the one in Iraq. It would be a BIG war.

The real bottom line:

Don't lose too much sleep over this... My money says they will end up compromising to placate the Russians, all a part of the big show, and put the system in Israel, the place they really want to protect from Iran.

No big war with Russia, no missile defense for Europe, just more military muscle for Israel.

It's all a giant shell game... with your money.

I Do... So Does She

But where will the reception be?
Weddings in space could be right around the corner, and experts figure the inevitable cosmic consummation will be just around the next corner.

The Japanese firm First Advantage and the U.S.-based private spaceflight firm Rocketplane Global, Inc., announced last week they will host weddings in space for about $2.3 million (240 million yen) apiece.
Remember the Muppets "Pigs in Space"? Now it's going to be "Sex in Space".

9% Approval Rate For Congress

About time:
The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.

The percentage of Democrats who give Congress positive ratings fell from 17% last month to 13% this month.
Wow. Even the Democrats, who seem to love screwball, reality challenged and out-of-touch politicians, are down to 13%.

This next election cycle is going to be a real cliff-hanger for the powers that be, since perhaps a huge chunk of their congressional puppets just may be tossed out on their bought-out butts.

The media bobbleheads, bimbos and hacks really have their work cut out for them this go-around, trying - one more time - to convince our simple-minded electorate to vote for the same old bunch of "vote for sale" jackasses.

Gets Your Butts Out Of Here

The Iraqis are sick and tired of us:
BAGHDAD (AP) - Iraq's national security adviser said Tuesday his country will not accept any security deal with the United States unless it contains specific dates for the withdrawal of U.S.-led forces.

The comments by Mouwaffak al-Rubaie were the strongest yet by an Iraqi official about the deal now under negotiation with U.S. officials. It came a day after Iraq's prime minister first said publicly that he expects the pending troop deal with the United States to have some type of timetable for withdrawal.
I suppose they are tired of us kicking in doors and trashing homes, shelling entire neighborhoods, random strip searches, confiscation of private property, roadblocks everywhere, the usual stuff practiced by occupiers.

Believe it nor not, Iraqis are far more angered by our troops whoring around with their women than Americans would be. Must be a religious and cultural thing.

Bush and the neocons have no plans whatever to vacate Iraq. The United states has built several huge permanent military bases - including an entire communication system - with the intention of staying every bit of that "one hundred years" McCain let slip. Seems the Iraqis want none of it.

And don't kid yourself... The next president will not get us out either.

Bracelet From Hell

Hard to believe:
A senior government official with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has expressed great interest in a so-called safety bracelet that would serve as a stun device, similar to that of a police Taser®. According to this promotional video found at the Lamperd Less Lethal website, the bracelet would be worn by all airline passengers.

This bracelet would:

• take the place of an airline boarding pass

• contain personal information about the traveler

• be able to monitor the whereabouts of each passenger and his/her luggage

• shock the wearer on command, completely immobilizing him/her for several minutes
This world-class big-brother idea, if carried out, would finish the job of bankrupting our airlines.

Start buying stock in railroads, the next big thing in long distance, cross-country transportation... Not by choice, but by necessity.

Blow Dat Horn

Let's waste some more time and effort:
An American pastor who made news in April by studying NASA's eclipse calendar to speculate on the return of Jesus Christ to Earth is now planning a worldwide blast of trumpets this fall to get God's attention.
Good grief. Like the endless slaughter in the Middle East isn't noteworthy enough to do that?

Mark Biltz of El Shaddai Ministries in Bonney Lake, Wash., is organizing the global "Day of Shouting" for the evening of Sept. 29, marking the annual biblical holiday known as the Feast of Trumpets. He wants to announce to "Messiah" we are awake and anxiously anticipating His return. Says Biltz:
What a dress rehearsal! Won't that stir His heart?
Wasn't horn blowing in the bible a method used to destroy stuff? Like Joshua and his horn blowers at Jericho? All that blowing caused a big earthquake, or so they claim. Or when an angel called Gabriel blows his horn, it will supposedly mark the beginning of the end for everybody except a few church dignitaries?

This back-woods preacher should be more careful what he wishes for, because in the real world, unintended consequences are always a bitch... Just ask Bush.

Those two guys in the picture? Blowing those those two horns at the ocean? Apparently trying to part the waves, one must suppose. Or maybe a Viking raider ship is approaching the coast.

The Well-Paved Road To Peace

Not really. We only see more of the same:
JERUSALEM: Israel should cut off outlying Arab neighborhoods from Jerusalem, Deputy Prime Minister Haim Ramon demanded Thursday, a day after a Palestinian construction worker from one of those districts went on a deadly rampage in the city center.
We Americans need to understand what's happening in the middle East, rather than just listen to all the spin we are exposed to daily.

The Arabs believe the Jews stole their land, creating the modern-day Israel on the land they know as Palestine. They want this "State" of Israel eliminated, one way or the other. They will not stop attacking Israel- ever. There will never be peace between the two.

What the Jews claim to be a biblical or historical claim to the land makes no difference whatever to the Arabs... never has, never will. It is a millennia-old fight that will not be over until one side or the other is obliterated.

The Jews know this. The Arabs know this. The Americans don't. That's why we are stuck in the middle.

But... it's going to reach a climax soon.

Wars - short or long - takes lots of money. Us Americans, after decades of supporting Israel militarily and financially, are now funding the Arabs with billions and billions more dollars than we have ever thrown Israel's way. Oil dollars. Our oil dollars. They will be used to shove Israel into the sea.

What absolute irony.

Seems then president Nixon -way back when - was correct when he made the comment that Israel's long-term chance of survival was zero.

Oh Yes... The Other Solution

The previous post is about corporate America's answer to high fuel costs. Now we also the federal governments brilliant solution:
WASHINGTON - An influential Republican senator suggested Thursday that Congress might want to consider reimposing a national speed limit to save gasoline and, in turn possibly ease fuel prices.
Yessir, America's corporations and America's government are definitely covering our backs.

An enforced speed limit of say... 35 mph... Will keep us safe from those huge 60-70 ton rigs that would otherwise just blow our little zit-bang right off the highway.

Wave the flag boys.

GM's New mini-Car

GM's answer to $4.00/gallon gas:
GM may bring the production version of the Chevrolet Beat to the U.S., people familiar with the plan said. The car, which would normally be reserved for markets such as Asia and Latin America, gets as much as 40 miles a gallon, a fuel efficiency topped in the U.S. only by hybrids.
Notice how the answer always seems to be a smaller and smaller car? Pretty soon they'll be so small you can't get your family in them - which is a very good thing - since they will actually be tiny little featherweight deathtraps trying to share the open highway with those 60-70 ton rigs flying along at 80mph plus.

Is the above photo(not the GM Beat) a harbinger of our transportation future in America? Where do you put the kids?

Oh, I forgot... Modern American couples don't want kids. For them a pill is a much better solution than a car that seats four.

Wait, wait.... below is a possible solution. Stuff the kids into that huge 36" high camper.

Notice those mountains? I'll just bet this little car/camper combo tore up those mountain roads at a blistering 8-10 mph, only having to stop to cool down that teeny little overworked and overheated engine two or three times... maybe four.

Notice the woman? She's a lot thinner than your average American female, who topped the scales at 162.9 pounds back in 2002, and who today might not be able to get into one of these little putt-putts.

God And Oil

I have a policy of not discussing religion on this blog, but there are times when otherwise relatively sensible people step so far over the line that comment becomes unavoidable. Just read the below:
CNSNews.com) - As the price of oil continues to rise, some are turning to God and prayer for an answer to their financial troubles.

The Pray at the Pump Movement, founded by Rocky Twyman, has been holding prayer vigils at gas stations across the country. On Monday, Twyman decided to take his movement from Exxon and Shell stations straight to the steps of the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Washington, D.C., hoping to encourage the oil-rich country to raise the amount of barrels they release each day....
It's hard to imagine a more useless endeavour than this sort of thing.

However, God - or at least the concept of God - has taken a hand in this oil crisis... Not directly of course, but through the hands and manipulations of man.

Osama Bin Laden once said he wanted oil to reach $144.00/barrel. He believed that a price like that would cripple the West. Turns out he was pretty close to the mark.

The price of oil just reached that level, and we see everywhere how our oil-based economy is in the process of collapse.

So how has God been used in all this?

Well, Osama and the Muslims do not believe that the Jews worship the true God, so all those Jewish claims about being "God's Chosen People" and that God gave them the land where Israel sits today to be Jewish property forever and ever... is just so much foolish babble.

The Muslims want Israel pushed into the sea, off the map, whatever, but superpower America has been preventing that.If the Muslims can cripple the United States by wrecking our economy through the use of oil as a WMD, they will. Take America, it's military, and it's money out of the Middle East picture and Israel crumbles quickly. Forget England, they've been toothless on the issue since 1948.

And if Israel decides to toss a few of their nuclear WMD's around in a last-ditch attempt to survive, the Muslims are more than willing to absorb the resulting damages... if Israel is eliminated far into the foreseeable future.

Isreal does not have enough nukes to cause a nuclear winter, or turn the world into a pile of radioactive rubble. The world would survive Israel's final moment of total insanity. Only if the United States was crazy enough to get invloved with its nukes would we see worldwide war between the superpowers, resulting in the destruction of civilization as we know it.

So, that's how God and oil are completely intertwined in this unbelievable mess.

The War Drums... Louder And Louder

Yet another point to ponder about the upcoming Middle East conflagration:
JERUSALEM (AP) - Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert visited Israel's main nuclear reactor on Tuesday, setting off a round of commentaries in Israeli media about Israel's intentions toward Iran and its nuclear program.
Israel's main nuclear reactor? So how many reactors does teeny tiny Israel have? How many WMD's do they have?
Israel itself is widely assumed to have an arsenal of nuclear weapons developed at the Dimona facility. Details and pictures leaked in 1986 to the Sunday Times of London by a renegade former Dimona employee, nuclear technician Mordechai Vanunu, led experts to conclude Israel has the world's sixth-largest stockpile of nuclear weapons, including hundreds of warheads.
If true, that's just plain frightening. Try to imagine that bunch of fanatics armed with hundreds of WMD's.

So here we sit on our thumbs while Israel - a fly speck on the map with several nuclear reactors and possibly hundreds of WMD's - want s to obliterate Iran's one reactor, while at the same time rejecting the conclusion of a recent U.S. intelligence report that Iran stopped its nuclear weapons program several years ago.

Ever stop to wonder why both the Dems and the Repubs have no real big guns in this presidential race? Because the next president will have to account for an Israel that has finally gone nuts and triggered death and misery beyond imagination. No savvy American politician wants to be straddled with a legacy like that. Let the lightweights, Obama or McCain, take the heat. One of them surely will.

Did I Mention A Long Four Years?

Yes I did, in the preceding post below:
DENVER - Mayor John Hickenlooper's annual State of the City address may get more attention for what wasn't included than what was.
At the start of the event Tuesday morning, City Council President Michael Hancock introduced singer Rene Marie to perform the national anthem.
Instead, she performed the song "Lift Ev'ry Voice and Sing," which is also known as the "black national anthem."
Rene Marie, a black woman - of course - said later:
When I decided to sing my version, what was going on in my head was: 'I want to express how I feel about living in the United States, as a black woman, as a black person.
Well hell yes. The annual "State of the City" address by the mayor" is just the place for that sort of thing, at least if you're a mostly shaved-bald black woman with an attitude. Michelle "I'm finally proud" Obama would be proud of her.

**********Singer Rene Marie. You tell 'em, Sista**********

Check out the guy in the grey suit with his hand over his heart while Rene blurts out a black unity song. Heart attack, not paying attention, or just confused on what to do?

Going to be an interesting four years, to say the least, what with all these suddenly "empowered" nobodies getting in our faces.

E-mobile And The Monkey

E-mobile, a Japanese cellphone company, just pulled an ad showing their monkey mascot, in a blue suit and tie, waving his arms from a podium with a sea of signs behind it saying "change".

Blacks across America have gone postal over this supposed racist attack on Obama. Read the article, watch the video, and make up your own mind.

CNN rushed interviewers into the streets of Japan, showing the video to the average Japanese passersby, none of whom made a connection between the E-mobile mascot and Obama.

Nonetheless, E-mobile immediately pulled the ad when CNN pointed out the supposed connection being made by American blacks, their spokesman explaining that the monkey has been in many of their ads over the years, doing all manner of "amusing" stunts to push their products.

But pulling the ad hasn't mattered here in America, where anger-prone blacks are foaming at the mouth at this supposed insult, possibly ramping up for maybe another million-male march on Washington... or perhaps Tokyo.

What these overheating blacks don't understand is that - in general - the Japanese have a fondness for monkeys akin to India's fondness for cows. A sort of national symbol, a kind of national pet. Different strokes for different folks, don't you know.

A bit of information: The monkey in question is a macaque, a pink-faced grey haired native animal of Japan, an animal the Japanese would never associate with Africans.

Tolerance and understanding of another culture by blacks could be considered here, but don't hold your breath.

Is this what we are in for if Barak Hussein gets the nod? An endless stream of insulted blacks on our TV's, in our living rooms, yelling and screaming, pounding their fists over anything - anywhere in the world - they perceive as an insult?

If so, it's going to be a l-o-n-g four years.

Now For The Little Details

Headlines everywhere scream:
Israel should use force to stop Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, says a former director of Israel's Mossad intelligence agency. The comments come from Meir Amit, who is claimed to be of the most esteemed figures in the Israeli intelligence establishment, are significant since, until now, he has refused to support an attack against Iran.
Now for those inconvenient details...

Amit is in his mid-80's, and was Mossad director from 1963 to 1968. During that time he was credited with orchestrating some of the most notorious Mossad operations, such as running Israeli spy Eli Cohen, who penetrated top levels of the Syrian government, and the hijacking of an advance fighter plane from Iraq.

Ok. So he was once a good Israeli foot soldier. But he's been out of the loop for forty years. Why is anybody on the planet paying any attention to this senile old duffer?

Mid-80's, for crying out loud. Hell yes... let's take his advice on when to start another war.

"E" For Effort, "F" For France

The French have taken a lot of heat over the years about their apparent shortcomings in the field of military proficiency, so they are trying to overcome the perception that they are bumbling fools by having demonstrations of their latest and greatest military techniques. Hooray for them.

So, on a recent "military open day":
Seventeen people, including five children, were seriously injured when live bullets instead of blanks were fired into a crowd at a military open day.

The shooting took place during a demonstration of hostage-freeing techniques at the event in Carcassonne, south-west France.
Apparently, not much has changed, and based on this latest, the last thing you want in this world is to be taken hostage in France.
