BAGHDAD (AP) - Iraq's national security adviser said Tuesday his country will not accept any security deal with the United States unless it contains specific dates for the withdrawal of U.S.-led forces.I suppose they are tired of us kicking in doors and trashing homes, shelling entire neighborhoods, random strip searches, confiscation of private property, roadblocks everywhere, the usual stuff practiced by occupiers.
The comments by Mouwaffak al-Rubaie were the strongest yet by an Iraqi official about the deal now under negotiation with U.S. officials. It came a day after Iraq's prime minister first said publicly that he expects the pending troop deal with the United States to have some type of timetable for withdrawal.
Believe it nor not, Iraqis are far more angered by our troops whoring around with their women than Americans would be. Must be a religious and cultural thing.
Bush and the neocons have no plans whatever to vacate Iraq. The United states has built several huge permanent military bases - including an entire communication system - with the intention of staying every bit of that "one hundred years" McCain let slip. Seems the Iraqis want none of it.
And don't kid yourself... The next president will not get us out either.
