Pleasing Both The Arabs And Jews?

Now here's an impossible task. A headline from the Daily News:
BARACK OBAMA FACES TOUGH TASK TO PLEASE BOTH ARABS & JEWS ON MIDEAST
Obama recently declared - to a private gathering of Jewish lobbyists - that Jerusalem should be the undivided capital of Israel. His immediate back-pedal about that statement to the rest of the world has created confusion over the candidate's position on the bitter Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

One must wonder if Obama had erroneously concluded that his statement would be kept private and confidential by those Jewish lobbyists. It may be his first real hard lesson about the Jews: They have no honor other than to themselves.

Bottom line: He needs to be trying to please us Americans, not those endlessly warring Jews or Arabs. They have chosen their own paths of endless conflict. We Americans have no need to be involved in their chosen fates, and we must have a president and Congress that understands that.

Assemblyman Dov Hikind (D-Brooklyn), who is strongly leaning toward Republican John McCain, predicted Obama will lose Jewish votes. "What does he really stand for? What does he really believe?" Hikind asked.

There are far less Jewish votes in America than any other minority, so losing them is of little consequence. The Jews depend totally on their pro-Israeli propaganda through our media to swing an election to the most pliable candidate. Ignore that propaganda and the Jews become toothless. They will - of course - collapse our money system in retaliation, but it's already collapsing, so the sooner the better... for a much needed overhaul.

And as far as what Obama stands for, I would like to think he stands for America first, everybody else a distant second.

Or is Obama already in the pockets of AIPAC and Israel? If so, then we Americans have no real choice in this next presidential election.

We can do better than these two. We MUST do better. America desperately needs an American to run for president.
