What The Definition Of "Is" Is

Even the Jews in Israel are learning something from Bill Clinton about the fine art of re-defining words:
By Amiram Barkat, Haaretz Correspondent

More than half of Israelis think the government should encourage its Arab citizens to emigrate from Israel, according to an annual survey by the Israel Democracy Institute.

A poll published Tuesday on the state of democracy in Israel found that 62 percent of Israelis support government-backed Arab emigration, compared to the 40 percent detailed by Geocartography Institute poll in March.
They are re-defining two words here, "encourage" and "emigrate".

To correctly read this news release, you need to replace "encourage" with "force", and "emigrate" with "get the hell out". You then have a more realistic read on how many Israelis really feel:
More than half of Israelis think the government should force its Arab citizens to get the hell out of Israel.
Reminds one of Americans and their attitude towards twenty million illegal aliens happily sucking away on the American teat.
