Russian Bombers Visit Chavez

MOSCOW (Reuters)
Two Russian long-range bombers capable of carrying nuclear weapons will return to base from Venezuela in four days, the Russian Air Force was quoted by Interfax news agency as saying on Thursday.

The Russian Tu-180 sweep-wing bomber, above, looks a lot like the American B-1 sweep-wing bomber, below, with a few cosmetic changes to boost the Russian ego and bolster their bragging rights.

Gee, how could that be?

Realistically, the Russians did not have to steal the plans of the B1 - like they did the B-29 of WW2 fame(The Russian TU-4), the F-14(The Russian MIG25 Foxbat), the space shuttle(The Russian Buran) and others - they just waited until some American traitor handed them over.
