WASHINGTON (AP) - Barack Obama's running mate says a campaign ad that mocked Republican presidential candidate John McCain as an out-of-touch, out-of-date computer illiterate was "terrible" and would not have been done had he known about it.Short honeymoon. But those salt and pepper "marriages" have of way of blowing up more often than not, and Biden, a seasoned, long-time Washington politician, most likely is beginning to burn inside at being the "bridesmaid" to this youngish, inexperienced upstart of a Chicago machine politician, and it's starting to show.
I won't be surprised if Biden, who no doubt has his political career on his mind constantly, starts actively backing away from Obama and his rabid army of toxic and vicious Obots, who have already stepped way over many, many lines of decency in this campaign and will probably do much worse in the coming weeks.
Even Bill Clinton is making apologetic remarks about the incredibly toxic attacks on Sarah Palin:
My view is, why say, ever, anything bad about a person? Why don’t we like them and celebrate them and be happy for her elevation to the ticket? And just say that she was a good choice for him and we disagree with them? You gotta shake your head in wonderment when Bill Clinton has to try to defuse some of Obama's horrid comments made by himself... or his disgusting Obots.
