Catholic Bishops... And Crocodile Tears

US Roman Catholic bishops on Wednesday charged that immigration raids on US workplaces break up families and disrupt communities, without addressing the country's flawed immigration system.

First off, our immigration system is NOT flawed, it has served us well for many years. What is flawed is the federal governments handling of our problem with this massive illegal invasion, this "Reconquista", as some rabid Mexican Nationals like to call it, the ongoing attempt to reconquer the American southwest and make it a part of a "greater" Mexico.

Secondly, the issue of 12 to 20 million illegal aliens having stolen across our borders is not an immigration problem, it is a lack-of-law-enforcement problem.

Finally, the Catholic Church knows full and well they are promoting lawlessness and crime by supporting these border-jumping, identity-stealing law-breakers from Mexico and other non-English-speaking countries.

Now these teary-eyed Catholic Anarchists are whining about us finally starting to enforce our law by deporting a few of these law breakers, thus causing the Catholic Church to lose a substantial chunk of their faithful flock (since Mexicans are mostly Catholic)... along with a lot of their influence in the community, and a large chunk of their income.

These errant Catholics will not willingly change their ways until a few of have had the opportunity to reflect on their conduct in a federal prison for a few years. These individuals will not be martyrs - though they may believe so - they will just be law-breakers paying for their actions.

Personally, I vote we send those illegal-loving Catholics south along with their flocks. They can tend to the spiritual needs of these Mexican Nationals in Mexico, just as easily as they can here, and at the same time, prove their dedication to their church and beliefs.

If they refuse to go, then it's prison time.
