Pay Attention!

Avery Doninger was disqualified from running for school government at Lewis S. Mills High School in Burlington after she posted something on her blog, referring to the superintendent and other officials as "douche bags" because they canceled a battle of the bands she had helped to organize.

So freaking what, say you?

Well, this is where Supreme court nominee Sonia Sotomayor comes in... She sat on a panel in that ruled against Avery on appeal in Doninger v. Niehoff.

Avery had posted a private opinion on her persnal blog, but female minority La Raza Council Member Sonia Sotomayor joined two other judges from the 2nd Circuit in ruling that:

the student’s off-campus blog remarks created a “foreseeable risk of substantial disruption” at the student’s high school and that the teenager was not entitled to a preliminary injunction reversing a disciplinary action against her.

No wonder our supposedly legal Kenyan President likes her so much... She is against freedom of Speech... or even Freedom of Expression... Also.

Douche bags? Cripes, that's what Congress is full of! Douche bags, Homos, Pediphiles, Pelosis - you name it - that's where you can find one. Only they have much more power than some opinionated teener.
