Down Goes The Dollar

NEW YORK (AP) - The dollar kept falling Friday, notching fresh multimonth lows against the euro, pound and yen as a warning that Britain's debt level may result in its credit rating being cut ricocheted into worries about the massive U.S. deficit.
As we all watch our currency lose its purchasing power, remind yourself that it is not Obama and his multi-trillion dollar schemes that is doing it.

It is the Congress. They hold the purse strings, not our assumed President. It is the Congress that authorizes all this insane spending.

When the cost of a hamburger passes twenty bucks, look to Congress, your Senators and Representatives, as the guilty ones, because they are.

No President, Constitutionally legal or not, can spend a penny without Congress authorizing it. It is Congress that is required to authorize the printing and distribution of our money, not the FED, not the Treasury, not the Executive Branch... Congress.

The locally elected baby-kissing, promise-making and endlessly smiling manipulators we send to Washington. They are the ones. The President is just a fast-talking figurehead that comes and goes.

It's far more important that you vote on who you send to Congress than who you vote for as President.
