And So It Begins

HAWAIIAN GARDENS, Calif. (AP) - A Latino street gang waged a racist campaign to eliminate the city's black residents through attempted murders and other crimes, according to federal racketeering indictments unsealed Thursday
I have often thought that when the federal gravy train funded by the working tax-paying majority began to derail, blacks and Mexicans would go after each other.

Since both sub-groups are on the lower end of the economic scale and depend on federal give-away programs more than others, it was inevitable that - when the money started drying up - they would see each other as a primary reason... to many mouths on the federal tit.

The other obvious reason for this violence is that both groups are into the illegal drug business and see each other as unwelcome competitors. As the economy tanks and the landed gentry in the three-piece suits and the glass towers curtail their indulging, profits in the drug trade plummet. Time to eliminate the competition, not enough customers for both groups.

It is a multi-faceted problem. First, the entitlement attitude so ingrained in these minorities, an attitude that has created a huge reservoir of anger and resentment towards each other, and secondly, the dwindling cash flow from the drug trade. Additionally, Mexicans are still very family oriented while blacks are not. You do not see huge numbers of Mexican single mothers from a fractured family where the father has skipped out, leaving the Mom and kids to depend wholly on Federal and State generosity. This creates vast amounts of disrespect and scorn... Going both directions. Finally, it has been my experience to see that these two racial groups - generally - just plain don't like each other.

Our headlong dash into "diversity" has promoted and encouraged these people to cluster into groups and communities consisting only of themselves. No more "melting pot", just a collection of angry clusters of non-citizens, working for their own benefit, and no one else. It's a perfect formula for social disaster.

And now that millions and millions of once tax-paying and productive citizens are hitting the unemployment and welfare lines - lines where they traditionally were never seen - the situation is being brought to the boiling point much, much faster.

It will get interesting... and quite violent. Both groups are armed to the teeth and have no qualms about killing each other off.

It's going to be another of those "unanticipated consequences", caused by allowing the illegal drug trade to flourish... and giving away all of our decent and well-paying jobs to overseas interests and trashing our economy in the process.

Let's all hope that the majority, the people who have funded all this with their taxes and support programs, don't get into the act. They are far better armed and have demonstrated that when they get riled up enough for action, there's pure hell to pay.
