Climate Change, Or Change Of Climate?

BEIJING (AFP) – US House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi, a longtime critic of Beijing's rule over Tibet and its rights record, arrived in China on Sunday for a trip focused on energy and climate change.
Climate change. Or more like it, a change of climate, since it's been heating up in Washington for her since she accused the CIA of lying to Congress.

The way and away best method to avoid embarrassing questions and the need for stumbling, awkward answers is to get out of Dodge. It would not surprise me if our suspected non-citizen but sitting president, Barak Obama, had told to to make herself scarce for awhile.

And dear ole' Nancy has done exactly that... quietly. To go and visit one of her favorite targets for her criticism and sharp tongue - China - shows how desperate she was to get out of town until the spotlight settles on someone else.

One must wonder if she expects to be welcomed with open arms by the very people she badmouths on a regular basis, or whether she'll just sort of hide in the shadows until this Climate Change conference winds up.

She may take an extended "official" tour of Pacific rim countries after the conference.... anything to avoid a quick return to her hot seat in Washington.

She can stay away as long as she wants... I won't mind a bit.
