Rambo Revisited

Sooner or later, ordinary people - sick and tired of onerous governmental interference at all levels - are going to run out of reasonable options:

KIRKWOOD, Mo. (AP) - A gunman with a history of acrimony against civic leaders stormed City Hall during a council meeting Thursday night, killing two police officers and three city officials before law enforcers fatally shot him, authorities said. The mayor was critically injured in the rampage.

Oops... looks like some have already run out.

There's most likely a lot more to this story than just the gun-crazed lunatic with "a history of acrimony against civic leaders" angle.

Like in the original Rambo, those officials probably "drew first blood" - perhaps repeatedly - supported and protected by the likes of that idiot Sheriff in the movie that prodded Rambo into a response none of them anticipated.

Just another sad example that in reality, there's always another option... another course of action.
