John McCain is a "true conservative," President Bush says...Just like Bush is a "true conservative"?
The last thing we need in the White house is another Bush style "true conservative".
I hate the thought of voting for either Clinton or Obama, but at least they have promised to bring our troops home sooner than later, and have no McCain-style fantasys about a 100-year occupation of Iraq.

Well if GWB say it, it MUST be true.

The real difference is:
McCain's promise to keep in Iraq for 100 years, vice Hilary's promise to end it. Both are politicians and their promises mean NOTHING. In fact, they can all three be counted on to do whatever is politically expedient for themselves.
No president has the power to promise anything for 100 years, only for 4. So which would be worse? McCain breaking his 100 year promise, or Hillary/Obama breaking thier "get them out as soon as possible (but not sooner than 8 years)" promise?
Hmmm... a real poser there roci...
Whom do we want a president? A gaint liar, or just a big liar?
One other thing:
Regardless of Vox's convictions that Hillary will be the next president, Obama looks to be cleaning her clock lately.
Nope. Obama is just the show. THe fix is in. THe superdelegates chose their candidate, not the popular vote. The supers all owe their allegiance to clinton. The "uncommitted ones" are only holding out because they need the energy that a primary provides to stir up their workers and donators. Kill the primary too soon and the money train ends.
There is no way the CLintons are going to let a little thing like "the People" get in their way.
Another bubble popped....
sigh
It will still be fun to watch the clintons spin a reasonable sounding excuse for how they can win after obviously losing so many primaries.
It will be further educational to watch all those democratic party faithful pretending not to notice that their votes never really mattered and getting back on the bus for Hillary.
