Puppets On A String

More of the same:
East Hartford — Sen. Joe Lieberman repeated his call Friday for the United States to use “limited military action” against Iranian camps suspected of being used to train and equip terrorists who are killing coalition troops in Iraq.
Israel's number one citizen-in-absentia rears his "Israel first" voice again in his never-ending quest to involve America in yet another sad chapter of this endless and insane Israeli-Arab conflict.

Reality check:

This war in Iraq is all about protecting Israel and oil. Saddam and Iraq were a real threat to Israel. But, there were no WMD's in Iraq, no plot of Saddam's to attack Americia, no threat to America at all. It was not a base to train Al-Quieda terrorists. It is now known that the Iraqis are enemies of Al-Quieda. At his very moment, Iraqis are fighting and killing the Al-Quieda that have ventured into Iraq.

Yes, it's always been about Israel and oil, neither of which are worth sending thousands of American sons and daughters to die for.

The oil interests in the region are so deep into corruption as to be useless to us, and Iran? Iran is an enemy of Israel--not America--unless Bush has his way.

And now, Lieberman tries to run up the flag for a wider war, to involve America even deeper in this Israeli conflict with the Muslims, to send more Americans to die in a fight we have no business being in.

And Bush wants the same thing.

We need to face the fact that this president has been a disaster for America. He has done NOTHING right--nationally or internationally--since 911.

He has committed us in two wars, both quagmires, both disasters.
He has totally destroyed our political infuence around the globe.
He has destroyed the normalization of relations we were experiencing with Russia, threatening a new Cold War.
He has completed the exportation of America's manufacturing base, making China the greatest manufacturing power today.
He is spending us into financial ruin and is totally destroying the dollar.
He has done nothing to counter the Mexican invasion, the war for our entire southwest. We just don't realize it's a war yet.
He has done nothing to protect our borders... from anybody.
He is trying to destroy our sovereignty with this North American Union nonsense.

And no wonder he seems such a fool, what with the cesspool of advisers that he has surrounded himself with.

If the present gaggle of candidates will not stand up and face this Bush disaster squarely and place the blame directly where it belongs, don't waste a second of your time on them.

Support someone for President who will put America first... Not Israel, not Mexico, not China.

Alright, sounds good...Who did you have in mind?
Anyone the D. C. establishment will consider "electable"?

Damn good question, Galt.

I see no one on the horizon that I would waste the time it took to vote on.

Vox is talking of Ron Paul, but I need to see a lot more data on the man.

And... screw the D. C. establishment. They're the reason why we're in the mess we are today.

yeah, you can't place all the blame on Bush; it's every damn one of 'em that went along with him. How many votes did the Patriot Act get when passed again?
