I prefer our present heatwave to something like that, although I gotta admit having an erupting volcano across the street would be far more exciting.

I think I'd rather be there than in India without electricity.
Hmph...
Our heat pump/air conditioner compressor blew up yesterday morning, still waiting today(2:30PM)for them to show up with a new unit.
Being without A/C is like being without electricty, only much worse. It's 106 out there right now. The house is well insulated, so it's only 89.5 inside.
But the humidity is 78%.
