Our caring and loving president left his fortress White House to visit the tornado ravaged areas we are seeing on TV. After a few minutes of eyeballing, he declared it a "disaster" area, followed by the usual inane("er" and "uh" filled) mush-mouthery he is so well known for.
True, it is a disaster. Several people died. Tragic. But it is a disaster brought apon us by nature, not by human actions.
I am a bit surprised that Bush actually went out into the open and exposed himself to the public like that. You can bet serious money that he has recieved numerous and credible death threats from all around the world. With our wide-open borders which any assassin could cross easily and then hide--in any of the countless pockets of illegals where cops never go--until ready to strike. Bush must live in constant fear.
I tell you what... Let's drag Bush over to some of the destroyed areas of Bagdad, areas where there is nothing standing, nothing but rubble, where entire communities once existed, where thousands of people died, not by the actions of nature, but by the orders of one George W. Bush.
Let's see if he would consider that a disaster, or if he would consider such stuff as just the unfortunate but necessary side-effects from his divenly approved efforts at democray building, or whatever the hell he thinks he's doing.
