LOS ANGELES (CBS) — The District Attorney’s Office announced Tuesday that they would file criminal charges against actress Lindsay Lohan in connection with allegations she stole a necklace from a jewelry store in Venice.
The 24-year-old actress is to be arraigned Wednesday afternoon at the Airport Branch Courthouse in Los Angeles, according to Deputy District Attorney John Lynch.
Lohan is accused of walking out of Kamofie & Co., a jewelry store, with the designer necklace on January 22.
It is said she could get up to 50 years for this if the D.A. really wants to push it.
Linsay has been playing footsie with the law and the courts for some time now and pretty much has the whole out bunch of them out gunning for her.
I really liked her performance in "The Parent Trap" some years ago and have been pulling for her to shake off the drinking/drugs nightmare she's in, but this theft of a "one of a kind" necklace may be the feather that breaks the camel's back.
Too bad. At one time, she had a real future.
