T. M. I.

You've heard it voiced before:
TMI! TMI! Too Much Information!
Now, TMI is killing people:
A YOUNG Afghan girl suffered fatal injuries after a box of public information leaflets, dropped from a British RAF transport aircraft over Helmand province, landed on top of her.
Good grief... are we still doing that sort of stuff? Dropping leaflets from airplanes? Scattering thousands and thousands of pieces of paper across the countryside? Where's the protests from our environmentalists?

Who believes that any of that propaganda fluttering down from the sky over the Afghan peasantry has any effect all all? Who believes that those people that live in 12th century mud shacks without running water, sewage, electricity, TV - the overt signs of a modern civilization - can actually read?

Now we kill one of their young girls with an unopened box of leaflets falling from the sky.

Tell me this: How many hearts and minds did that box of leaflets win over to our side? Or, how many more enemies did it create for us?

Way to go there, wardogs.

It's hard to comprehend that our leaders of this "war" actually believe that some dropped leaflets will change the day.

No wonder we're losing. We're fighting a modern guerrilla insurrection with a mindset right out of World War One.
