Exposing Theft And Fraud, The Who And Where

And where was the Vice-President during all this?
In what could turn out to be the greatest fraud in US history, American authorities have started to investigate the alleged role of senior military officers in the misuse of $125bn (£88bn) in a US -directed effort to reconstruct Iraq after the fall of Saddam Hussein. The exact sum missing may never be clear, but a report by the US Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction (SIGIR) suggests it may exceed $50bn, making it an even bigger theft than Bernard Madoff's notorious Ponzi scheme.
Cheney, the man behind Haliburton and their billion-dollar no-bid contracts in Iraq, must be hiding in these shadows somewhere.
In one case, auditors working for SIGIR discovered that $57.8m was sent in "pallet upon pallet of hundred-dollar bills" to the US comptroller for south-central Iraq, Robert J Stein Jr, who had himself photographed standing with the mound of money. He is among the few US officials who were in Iraq to be convicted of fraud and money-laundering.

Robert Stein, caught with his hands, feet, mouth, nose and buttocks in the American cookie jar

This man, Robert Stein, had already been convicted of fraud before being appointed to the job of US comptroller for south-central Iraq, a job that allowed him to be photographed next to billions of cash dollars piled high on shipping pallets.

Incredible. The question is now:WHO APPOINTED HIM?

Almost 58 billion of our dollars gone forever. When we catch these scum and prove their guilt, we should just hang them. The minute they are convicted, they should be taken out to the courtyard and hung.

Justice delivered onto these scumbags should be swift and sure.

Weren't those contracts awarded during the Clinton years????

Clinton did not start the Iraq war. Bush did, so the no-bid contracts started being doled out during the Bush admin.

And yet, no-bid contracts were awarded to Halliburton during the Clinton years. Bush merely continued them during the war.
