An Interesting Poll

AOL News has an interesting poll being conducted today. As the President's approval numbers hit the all-new low of 36%, AOL is asking four questions:

1)- Which party would you prefer control Congress?

Results so far from 155,877 respondents:

Democrats 66%
Republicans 26%
Other 9%

2)- Predict the outcome of this fall's elections:

Results so far from 76,976 respondents:

Democrats win control of House and Senate 55%
GOP holds on to one chamber; Democrats win the other 30%
GOP holds on to House and Senate 15%

3)-How has your opinion of the GOP changed in the past five years?

Results so far from 75,674 respondents:

It has declined 69%
It hasn't changed 25%
It has improved 6%

4)-How has your opinion of Democrats changed in the past five years?

Results so far from 75,589 respondents:

It hasn't changed 38%
It has improved 35%
It has declined 27%

Good job, George, you are destroying your own party.

looks like we may being going back to some form of beltline gridlock after the next election. We certainly need it. This republican controlled federal government has been an unmitigated disaster.

Not that a democratically controlled federal government would be any better... we need that gridlock to keep those Washington lunatics from going nuts, as the republicans have demonstratively done in the last five years.
