White House press secretary Jay Carney said Friday the violent protests throughout the Middle East are not directed at the United States or U.S. policy but are a response to a YouTube video.
"We also need to understand that this is a fairly volatile situation and it is in response not to United States policy, and not to, obviously, the administration, or the American people, but it is in response to a video, a film that we have judged to be be reprehensible and disgusting."One has to admire him for his ability to keep the bile down and not vomit when he makes such ludicrous statements.
The United States has spent the last decade killing Arabs and Muslims, destroying their cites and infrastructure. The United States has invaded and occupied two Arab States and destroyed their governments.. The United States has sent cruise missiles into Pakistan and Yemen. The United States has killed over 100,000 Muslim non-combatant men, women and children during that time.
And when Arabs and Muslims attack United States Consulates, it's because of a video?
A Saudi Arabian Prince and a few of his Saudi buddies hijacked some planes and flew them into our buildings. As a response, we attacked and occupied two Muslim nations that had nothing to do with the attack, have occupied them for a decade, and slaughtered their citizens by the tens of thousands.
They attack us because they hate us.
They attacked our consulates on 9-11. Does that ring any bells?
