Casus Belli

"Casus Belli".

Latin for An incident used to start a war.

Obama has found his excuse... To protect Libyan citizens.

That - of course - is complete nonsense.

The Powers That Be care no more for Libyan citizens than they care for a pile of pesky ants, or fleas on a dog, or the tea partiers.

Libya posed zero threat to the United States and its citizens. Libya was not threatening our oil, they sell to Europe. Libya was not threatening Americans citizens anywhere in the world. Libya had no American citizens being held as hostage for whatever reason.

Ever since one of Reagan's cruise missiles killed Gadhafi's daughter and almost killed Gadhafi himself(he got a broken arm in the cruise missile attack) Gadhafi and Libya has left us totally alone.

The federal government had even taken him off the "terrorist nation" list and suspended many of the embargoes levied against Libya.

Why then has Obama attacked Libya? Please, don't start with that idiocy that we are just a part of a "coalition" to protect Libyan citizens. A six-year-old can see through that.

Obama's original reluctance to attack was nothing more than a dodge. If things go badly, he can always claim he did not want another war, but he got bad advice from his staff, or bad advice from whoever he would be throwing under the bus.

Obama has attacked Libya with cruise missiles(124 admitted of so far), B2 stealth bombers, F117 stealth fighters, and is destroying the Libyan infrastructure: Airports, power plants, roads, bridges, communications centers, just as United States did in Iraq.

Question: Why another war, this time with an opponent that could not possibly threaten America?

One thing is for certain... This attack is depleting our store of advanced weaponry on a target that has no military or political value.

Another question: Is there any sign - any sign at all - About an exit strategy? When do we stop this? How do we get out?

One thing we can all count on... We American taxpayers will be picking up the bill in the future to rebuild All that infrastructure Obama is destroying today.

Why do I keep blaming Obama? He issued the orders, not his generals or admirals, not Congress, not the Pentagon, not Hillary.

Mr. "hope and Change" himself. The man who promised to get us out of Iraq. The man who said he would close Guantanamo. The man who upped our troop level in Afghanistan by 30,000.

You oh-so-smart liberals can sure pick 'em.
