The Snake Oil Salesman Strikes Again

Who would have guessed?
President Obama is unveiling $1.5 billion in housing help, a boost timed to his appearance in the city with the worst foreclosure crisis in the nation.

Obama's move, detailed by aides in advance of his town hall here Friday, is the latest by a White House determined to show it is helping families rebound from a deep recession. The downturn is taking an election-year toll on Obama's party as voter frustration builds.

Obama was to announce that housing finance agencies in the five hardest-hit states in the housing crisis will receive $1.5 billion to help spur local solutions to the problem. Those five are Arizona, California, Florida, Michigan and Nevada.
AND NEVADA.

Where Harry Reid, Senate Majority leader, is in the race of his life to keep his Senate seat. So along comes Obama, tossing tax dollars around like chicken feed, in a obvious bid to buy Reid's Senate seat for him.

Naturally, dire warnings are being cast about like black cats on the sidewalk - If Reid doesn't get re-elected to push a bill through providing the cash, then the Senate just won't be able to get that money to NEVADA.

This president is breath-taking in his lack of honor and scruples.

Who would have guessed? A lot of us, who understand that Obama's only mission in Vegas was to buy votes, no matter the cost to the rest of us.

Not win notes, but buy votes.

I would not be at all surprised if Obama tried to issue an "executive order" re-appointing Reid... If Reid loses the upcoming election as predicted.
