Sotomayor

Obama's Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor defended one of her most controversial statements on Monday, saying she never meant to imply that a Hispanic woman would make a better judge than a white man.

If she really didn't mean what she said - and she said that more than once to various groups (by her own admission) - how can anyone believe what she says now?

I watched and listened long enough to hear her deny the racist and sexist comments she has made in the past, using well-scripted and practiced answers provided by her supporters.

A couple days of denial and outright lies... and she will be a lifelong Supreme Court Justice, but not for all Americans, only those she identifies with and has empathy for.

Just watch out as all her "Wise Latina Woman" opinions rapidly become very opinionated... and biased.

It will be most entertaining to watch as the two major groups of minorities start to squabble over the dying remnants of a once-prosperous America, built by the hardworking majority of real Americans that will soon be relegated to the status of third-class citizens of their own nation.

Think I'm kidding? What with the breathtaking speed that this Obama character is destroying our Republic, his intentions have become obvious quite early one in his administration. The amazing thing to witness today is how Congress is so eagerly digging it's own grave, and how what's left of the hard-working and tax-paying class of Americans are just sitting on their plump and still-comfortable asses... Determinedly ignoring the falling house around them.

I was hoping I wouldn't live long enough to see all this, but the speed in which it's all happening pretty much eliminates that way out.

Since my wife and I really have no options other than to stay put where we are, it's time to pass the popcorn, because it's going to be quite a show.

I'm beginning to feel like somebody out on the beach who suddenly sees a massive tidal wave roaring in... With no place to run.
