Slavery exists as a brutal fact in Mauritania, a nation in Saharan Africa.
Officially, slavery has long been abolished in Mauritania, but the law has never been enforced and there are an estimated 600,000 slaves, almost one in five of the country's 3.2 million people, almost 150 years since the American civil war.
One in five. Twenty percent. That's a higher number per capita than there are blacks in America. If we were like Mauritania, every black in America would still be a slave, including Obama, since he claims to be a native born American.
Think about it.
