She Has Found Two?

A team of archaeologists in Israel has unearthed what's claimed to be the royal seal of an Old Testament bigwig who is said to have tossed the prophet Jeremiah down a well.

Team leader Dr. Eilat Mazar of Jerusalem's Hebrew University says the imprint was found in clay, astonishingly well-preserved, bearing the name of Gedaliah, the son of Pashur.

Amazing. but wait, this is not the only one she's found:
In 2005, Mazar found another seal with the name of Jehucal the son of Shelemiah, who is mentioned twice in the prophet's book. That artifact was found in a stone structure Mazar believes was part of King David's ancient palace.
Even more amazing... this woman has found not one, but two amazing artifacts in a scant three years.

*****Dr. Eilat Mazar, Finder of Incredibly Rare Stuff*****

Has anybody thought to carbon date these fantastic finds? And this latest one is "amazingly well preserved". It would be... if it had been manufactured in the last few years or so.

The history of archeology is littered with fake discoveries made by archaeologists lusting for recognition - or by fanatics wanting to create "proof" to support the Old Testament stories, so I suggest holding off on the champagne until these things are verified by an independent - non Jewish and reliable - source.

Makes me wonder just how many of all theses relics that supposedly support the O.T. which have been found by digging around in Middle East ruins is actually real and truly authentic, or just fakes that have been unquestionably accepted by those whose only wish in life is to "believe".

A Jewish archaeologist, educated at a Jewish University, finding Incredibly rare and historic stuff... to support an old Jewish story.

Maybe you can understand why I'm a bit skeptical.
