Corn And Ethanol

An applied economics professor at Minnesota just said:
“It takes around 400 pounds of corn to make 25 gallons of ethanol. It’s not going to be a very good diet but that’s roughly enough(food) to keep an adult person alive for a year.
Well, some of our native Americans lived on corn their entire lives without any noticeable side effects, what with the occasional buffalo, rabbit or noisy dog tossed in for good measure.

Not good tidings for the ethanol from corn crowd.

Sugar cane - you green morons - sugar cane. Not corn.

Even switchgrass or Sorghum is a least twice as efficent when used to produce ethanol.
