Connections

A Drudge report headline:
Obama claims Jewish 'kinship'...
A White house news release:
President George W. Bush signed a presidential proclamation Tuesday, highlighting the important work of the Chabad Lubavitch movement. The Chabad Lubavitch movement promotes global education, and since 1978, every President has signed an Education and Sharing Day proclamation.
Israel's number one Congressional lobbyist:
Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-Conn.), the Democratic Party’s 2000 vice presidential nominee, is leaving open the possibility of giving a keynote address on behalf of Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) at the Republican National Convention in September.
What sort of global education are these Labavitch Rabbis promoting? Has anybody stopped to check that out? Why do they have such pull that every American president since 1978 has sucked up to them?

Why - all of a sudden - does Obama want to claim "Jewish kinship"? A Not-so-subtle indication that he will toe the line on Israel?

And naturally, Leiberman is going for an influential position in the possible McCain White house.

Seems that a very pervasive Jewish thread runs through every branch of America's government. Only problem with that is this thread is interested in Israel first, and America... a distant second.
