Israeli diamond billionaire Lev Leviev, who immigrated to Israel from Uzbekistan in 1971, has bought the most expensive new property ever sold in Britain -a $70 million home with a bullet-proof front door costing $100,000, British real estate dealers said on Tuesday.Abandoning the land of his forefathers? Or just tired of the uncertainty and constant fear of attack generated in Israel by the endless war his people has created?
The 51-year-old businessman best known for his diamond trading company and who is estimated to be worth $6.5 billion, is expected to move with his wife and two of his nine children.
A $100,000 bullet-proof front door. The man is definitely afraid of something, like maybe the war coming to visit him on some dark, foggy London night.
Six and a half billion profit from the diamond business. You bet. Now go buy that $5,000 diamond. Help keep this guy - and others like him - in total comfort, luxury... and security.

Most decorative front doors on high end homes ARE bullet proof and expensive, just by being decorative, large, thick, and being made of the finest materials.
The heavy oak doors on many english churches would also qualify for this label.
Otherwise, there isn't much point in over-fortifying the front door on any house that has windows.
Maybe his windows are 1" Lexan, which would stop a .50 cal bullet.
