Soros At Davos

DAVOS, Switzerland:
On the first day of this conference, a parade of bankers, economists, and political officials expressed deep fears about the faltering American economy, peppered with blunt criticism of its institutions, chiefly the Federal Reserve, which some accused of sowing the seeds of today's crisis.
A parade of bankers, economists and politicians... many of whom are the very ones responsible for America's failing economy... are worried about the gravy train limping to a halt.

George Soros, the financier who made a fortune betting against the pound, went so far Wednesday as to say that the downturn would put an end to the long status of the dollar as the world's default currency.

Soros... a man who has not helped improve your future.

Said Soros:
The current crisis is not only the bust that follows the housing boom. It's basically the end of a 60-year period of continuing credit expansion based on the dollar as the reserve currency.
So how many more fortunes will Soros - and others like him - make betting against the dollar?

Soros and his ilk are exactly the kind of greedy money handlers that have helped to promote all this financial mayhem for personal gain, and quite successfully at that. Now that they've done all the damage, they're all bailing - taking their billions with them - and have the arrogance and hubris to tell us publicly.

People like that are the ones on the top my "Hunt down and publicly horsewhip" before we hang them list... when we Americans finally have had enough and decide to take some real action.

Soros is certainly no angel, but the mess, he has made in the 1997 Asian Financial Crisis, results indirectly in a certain decoupling of Asia from the recent US slowdown. Therefore, in retrospective, he has made a sound economic judgement. The world functions in such a peculiar way, it is hard to tell...

You dont like the message..so hang the messenger eh? Its not Soros thats to blame..its the good ol
red white and blue American public
thats to blame. The ones that elect movie stars to run the country, the ones that watch TV 12 hours a day, go to Disneyland for vacation, have near zero knowledge of anything outside of their little suburban world. The present crisis is not the result of some grand conspiracy against "jes folks"..the present crisis is the result of "jes folks" demanding that they be lied to in order to be "happy" and electing politicians who are only too happy to oblige.
