WASHINGTON (AP) - President Bush invoked executive privilege Monday to deny requests by Congress for testimony from former White House aides Sara Taylor and Harriet Miers.What a neat gimmick. Wish I had something like that when I was a kid and faced with a situation of having to lie to get out of a jam.
Mom: Roooobbbbbeeeeerrrrt.... did you break this window?
Me: I'm invoking executive kiddage here on this issue.
Mom: Oh. Well! OK then, go out and play.
Me: Heh Heh...

Maybe Bush's biggest problem is he never got his ass beat enough when he was little.
Just a theory, but I'll bet it's a hell of a lot more valid one than his "belief" we'll get victory in Iraq.
FDR showed U.S. how to get victory. The SOB doesn't want victory; he wants more of your money in his backers' pockets.
