Nice work If You Can Get It

World Bank Bigwig Paul Wolfowitz... Remember him? The neocon designer of the Iraq war? The guy with the Libyan-born British national girlfriend named Shaha Ali Riza?

Riza supposedly got a $50,000 raise, to an annual salary of $170,000 while at the WB under Wolfie. He then arranged to get her into the State Department to work with Dick Cheney's daughter Elizabeth Cheney, where the two women are operating a fund called The foundation for the Future.

Riza, a foreign national, could not hold this job without very high-level security clearances -- yet the State Department has no record of issuing her any such clearance.

Guess what? The taxpayers are funding this two-woman "Foundation" to the tune of $56 million.

So what does this "Foundation" do? Nobody knows.

Like I said, nice work of you can get it--and apparantly you can--if you have ties to the Bush gang of thieves in the White House.

Cheney's daughter and wolfowitz's girlfriend... We are so getting screwed by these people.

Wow, that's interesting. Maybe the Fund for the Future is just a shield and private bank for the Foundation for the Future. The Foundation wants to control what kinds of businesses get a leg up in the middle east as they replace everything that's been destroyed. Since the Foundation is not a US government entity (based in Beirut, but has a "branch" in DC) it's probably not subject to the Freedom of Information Act or any of that stuff that can interfere with "the future." And by "future" I mean, "controlling the the geopolitical landscape of the future via discriminating, untraceable financial grants to strategic business placements in developing countries."

In short, it could be a proactive taskforce with a 100-year plan to sculpt the middle east. Riza and Cheney probably don't really "do" much aside from daily operations (which can possibly be carried out independent of long-term strategy). They're toadies, I'd bet. But I agree we are most likely getting screwed by these people. In any case, if people start getting the idea that we're getting more screwed than usual, Riza and Cheney might become political and financial meat shields. Anwar Ibrahim, their chairman, was already set up by Malaysia to take another fall for corruption and "unnatural sex".

It feels like they're telling the Middle East/North Africa region, "we're sick of you guys being so poor and opinionated, so we're going to buy you houses as long as you play ball. Everybody wins, right?" Right?

If that's what you call "work" then I want a "career" as an Old-Money, Filthy-Rich international playboy!
WTF!?
