DUBAI, United Arab Emirates (AP) - The U.S. Navy staged its latest show of military force off the Iranian coastline on Wednesday, sending two aircraft carriers and landing ships packed with 17,000 U.S. Marines and sailors to carry out unannounced exercises in the Persian Gulf.The Persian gulf? Good grief, that's a naval chokepoint! No room to manuever, no room to run, nothing but sitting ducks for all manner of missiles.
It's more like a show of military stupidity and has Bush's fingerprints all over it.
