Obama has asked Gates to stay on, another man with a vested interest to keep the wars going on and on.
With the collection of Washington insiders and lobbyists he's been selecting to fill his administration with, it's beginning to look like to only changes we will see is the name of the President and a change of the first lady from a smiling trophy bimbo to an angry militant.
Some change. Like all other candidates before him , he promised all things to all people, but now that he's elected, he is "modifying" his promises to align them with the current policies he campaigned against.
Some folks would call that out-an-out lying, but they're old-fashioned.
Really, he represents no change whatever - other than race - just more and more of the same, which is a steady course to socialism.
After that, it's a bit foggy... Marxism, or Fascism?

You can bet whatever Der Schtaat hasn't taken away from you yet that Obama was approached shortly after winning the election and given the same "reality check all who went before him since Kennedy have gotten:
A man in a black suit with a red tie and earpiece headphone approached him and let him know that "go along and get along" was still in effect at the White House, and the consequences for trying to actually change the statist-quo beyond the prescribed Papist-Khazar paradigm would be a bullet in the head, so stay the course.
Time will tell how this ends...
