America" never was a single nation. There is absolutely no reference in the Constitution to the US as a nation because the framers removed all such references, stating that they were NOT forming a nation. The US is a UNION of sovereign states.Sobering. I can think of no place in the Constitution that declares us as a "nation".
The Pledge of Allegiance is the tool that has been used to destroy state sovereignty... "one nation, under god, with liberty and justice for all".
Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or abolish it, and institute new Government.
