A New Day Is Dawning

Wow... Sure looks like that's a bridge out ahead.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - California's controller says he will begin a 30-day delay on tax refunds and other payments starting Feb. 1 because the state is running out of money.

Controller John Chiang said Friday he must delay $3.7 billion in payments next month because lawmakers have failed to address California's growing deficit.

With a $41.6 billion shortfall over the next year-and-a-half, the state is on the brink of issuing IOUs.
Yup... our elected politicians have spent us all into bankruptcy, and now they're starting to beg off on what little money we've got coming to us.

As California goes, so goes the nation.

And there you are... Wondering why I think we should take them all out and hang 'em high. Of maybe you think a pocketfull of IOU's from your local politicians is a good thing.

One thing for certain... If we don't do something, they'll just keep taking and taking until there's nothing left, because Obama has already said he's going to spend us out of this disaster, and the only money he can get is ours.

Bob, if they give back all that money, they won't have any to give to the freeloading wetbacks in Californication that are getting welfare, food stamps, free rent, SSI and retirement but never paid shit in...
You wouldn't want that, now...would you?
