San Francisco Just Loves Illegal Aliens, Criminals Included

Shot in the back by an illegal alien protected by the city of San Francisco, a place that calls itself a "Sanctuary City".

SAN FRANCISCO -- A 32-year-old woman shot and killed in broad daylight in San Francisco has been identified as Kathryn Steinle, a former Pleasanton resident and Amador Valley High School graduate.

Meanwhile, police said they arrested Francisco Sanchez, 45, of Texas, in connection with the random shooting.

Steinle was walking with her father and a family friend on Pier 14 in the city's South Beach neighborhood Wednesday evening when she was shot in the back, said her mother, Liz Sullivan.

The gunshot pierced her aorta, Sullivan said, and Jim Steinle, the victim's father, tried to give her CPR as she lay wounded on the ground.

"She said, 'Dad, help me, help me," Sullivan said when reached by phone. "She was so young. This is just like a bad dream.

Freya Horne, counsel for the sheriff's office, said Friday that federal detention orders are not a legal basis to hold someone, so Sanchez was released April 15. San Francisco is a sanctuary city, and local money cannot be spent to cooperate with federal immigration law.

The city does not turn over people who are in the country illegally unless there's an active warrant for their arrest, she said. Horne said they checked and found none. ICE could have issued an active warrant if they wanted the city to keep him, she said.

"It's not legal to hold someone on a request to detain. This is not just us. This is a widely adopted position," Horne said.

This illegal  alien killer did - as we all know - have a large criminal record:

“His criminal history includes seven prior felony convictions, four involving narcotics charges,” Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said in a statement.

Now, it seems to me the cops can detain anyone they want to for quite a period of time, without any sort of charges at all. Also, Freya said they could not find "an active warrant", a disingenuous statement if ever there was one. Shes is just trying to deflect culpability with bull sh*t.  No doubt whatever they knew of this illegals record, no doubt whatever.

So this SJW  is - of course - lying.  That's what SWJ's do.

It seems to me just justice would be served for Kathryn if every person involved in her killing were fired, fined and jailed. That goes double for the SJW's that made San Francisco - a once great American city -  a "sanctuary city", becoming a safe haven for law breakers and criminals from around the world..

California - particularly San Francisco - is just about lost as a place for the sane and reasonable law-abiding citizen to live and survive... and tourists also. Kathryn was from Pleasanton. visiting San Francisco for a day of fun and relaxation.
