The "Gimmies" March

WALLER COUNTY, Texas — A group of armed members of the New Black Panther Party marched on the Waller County Jail Wednesday afternoon chanting “The revolution is on… Off the pigs,” and “Oink Oink… Bang Bang!” The group of about fifteen Black Panthers exercised their First and Second Amendment rights. The group was met in Waller County by a large contingent of Harris County (Houston) Sheriff’s Office deputies.

What  "revolution" are they chanting about? What is their goal? Who do they think is their enemy? 

Imagine. A group of heavily armed malcontents show up in front of a police station shouting about a "revolution" and killing the police.

That's conduct far and above exercising their 1st and 2nd Amendment rights.  They were - in fact - declaring war on the police.

And there they stood, unchallenged,  shouting insults and threatening death to the police, assault weapons at the ready. They are either stupid, crazy or very, very lucky. 

To be truthful, I'm a bit surprised they are all still alive.

To believe that the police are afraid of them and will not push back is pure folly. The police are simply trying to defuse the situation peacefully, but when they had had enough, they will put a stop to this mind-boggling stupidity. And it will be very, very bloody.

What are their goals?

Here is excerpts from the Black Panther  "Platform and Program":

1. We want freedom. We want power to determine the destiny of our Black Community.

2.. We want full employment for our people.

3. We want an end to the robbery by the white man of our Black Community.

4. We want decent housing, fit for shelter of human beings.

5. We want education for our people that exposes the true nature of this decadent American society.       We want education that teaches us our true history and our role in the present-day society.

6. We want all black men to be exempt from military service.

7. We want an immediate end to police brutality and murder of black people.

8. We want freedom for all black men held in federal, state, county and city prisons and jails.

9. We want all black people when brought to trial to be tried in court by a jury of their peer group or people from their black communities, as defined by the Constitution of the United States.

10. We want land, bread, housing, education, clothing, justice and peace. And as our major political objective, a United Nations-supervised plebiscite to be held throughout the black colony in which only black colonial subjects will be allowed to participate for the purpose of determining the will of black people as to their national destiny.

That's an impressive list of "wants". 

Numbers 6, 8, and 10 pretty much take the whole thing off the rails. Particularly number 10, where they want the United Nations to create a black nation  in which only blacks will be allowed to participate in.

There is already a place like that... Africa.

But they would have to work for what they want in Africa... nobody to just take it from.

That's gotta suck.
