While our assumed president goes to Copenhagen for a U.N. climate change meeting on December 9, The scientist at the heart of the climate change scandal was under growing pressure to quit last night.

George Monbiot, a leading environmentalist, said Phil Jones should resign from the Climatic Research Unit over leaked emails that appear to show researchers suppressed scientific data.

More emails came to light yesterday, including one in which an American climatologist admitted it was a travesty that scientists could not explain a lack of global warming in recent years.

It's not a travesty, it's a crime. These despicable scum have intentionally lied to and mislead entire governments to further their own agendas. Jail is far too good a punishment for them. They should be taken out, tarred and feathered, then ridden out of town on a rail.

After a very short but fair trial, of course.

And just like with all the other Progressive and Marxist dreams Obama champions, it's full speed ahead with this "climate change" insanity... Before America wakes up to what his "fundamental changes" are really about.

But don't get me wrong... I have been experiencing this climate change also... for years.

And so it came to pass that Landrieu walked onto the Senate floor midafternoon Saturday to announce her aye vote -- and to trumpet the financial "fix" she had arranged for Louisiana.

"I am not going to be defensive," she declared. "And it's not a $100 million fix. It's a $300 million fix."

Well then, that makes it all OK. Maybe she was unpurchasable for $100 million, but $300 million? Even the great Hillary will never top that.

It's your tax dollars she's getting, and you? You won't even get a single Lewinsky out of it.

The funniest part about all this? She's been promised $300 million by the worst lying scumbags in Congressional history. Louisiana won't see even a minor chunk of that promised money... Ever.

Remember recently when we were informed that our troops - when capturing an enemy combatant on foreign soil - now have to read them their Miranda rights?

Did you stop to wonder why?

Well, now you know.

They are going to be brought to the United States and tried in our court system. However, the instant they set foot on American soil, they have all the Constitutional protections American citizens do.

In America, the law requires that a suspect be read their Miranda their rights at the time of arrest, because if they are hauled into court and it is discovered they were not read their rights, the case is tossed out.

Pretty simple to understand.

Now the Obots are going to bring those Gitmo terrorist suspects to New York City for trial.

Attorney General of the United States Eric Holder said that he would authorize prosecutors to seek the death penalty against the five defendants, who will be tried together in New York.

None of these suspects were ever read their Miranda rights. Eric Holder - and his boss Obama - know this.

Is Holder lying, or just stupid? Surely he must know and understand the predictable chain of events:

-1) The suspects set foot on American soil.
-2) They automatically get Constitutional protections.
-3) The judge - in due course - asks about Miranda
-4) The case is thrown out.
-5) The suspects are released onto the streets

Hey... IT'S THE LAW. Our law. And it's going to be used against us.

The government will have a few court-appointed prosecutors, but the defendants will have the best defense money can buy.

The outcome is inevitable, and there can be no doubt that both Obama and Holder realize this. The excuse will be something like: "We wanted to convict them, we really really did, but our hands were tied. It wasn't our fault the court let them go."

Just let them go now. That seems to be the goal of this Muslim-loving administration anyway.

This game the Obots are playing with America is becoming more and more dangerous by the day. I can see no good outcome.

Probably A No-Win Situation

My wife and I went to one of those members-only, big-box discount stores yesterday and noticed they had turntables for sale for a hundred bucks. It came complete with needle, dust cover, RCA phono outputs, an output cable and software for your computer so you could put all your LP's onto disc if you really wanted.

We have a large collection of LP's -Vinyl to you modern intellectuals that have re-named everything - and wanted to know what kind of needle the unit had. Well, it has a stylus made of high-quality composite plastic, I'll have you know. The store clerk told me so.

Diamond needle? Sapphire? Or just a pointy bit of steel? I still don't know, even after a website visit to the manufacturer.

I mentioned to him we had an extensive collection of Arthur Fiedler conducting the Boston Pops in mint condition, a large selection of irreplaceable Kingston Trio on 33's, and didn't want an inferior needle gouging out the grooves.

Hello? Total blank stare time.

I said to him, "You've never heard of either of those, have you."

He said "No."

I then said, "But you know all about rap, right?"

His response was that we wasn't really into rap. He was more of a sixties kind of music guy.

Wife says she thinks he was just being sarcastic. I think he was expressing his vast lack of knowledge.

Farooq Khan, a spokesman for the Afghan National Police in Nuristan province, said U.S. forces left behind arms and ammunition when they left the area, which he said is now in insurgent hands.

Nuristan's provincial police chief Gen. Mohammad Qassim Jangulbagh said, "The Americans left ammunition at the base."

Great, just great.

One arm of the federal government is sending tens of thousands of our soldiers to "defeat" terrorism, while another hand (the starry-eyed idiots who think they are sending fertilizer to help improve crops for the peasants) is sending tons and tons of ammonium nitrate that ends up in IED's to kill those very soldiers with.

To top it off, the solders themselves leave behind ammo and weapons for the enemy to just pick up and use.

The Heavy Hand Of Pelosi

Failure to comply with the individual mandate to buy health insurance contained in the Pelosi health care bill (H.R. 3962, as amended) will land people in jail. Americans who do not maintain “acceptable health insurance coverage” and who choose not to pay the bill’s new individual mandate tax, are subject to numerous civil and criminal penalties, including criminal fines of up to $250,000 and imprisonment of up to five years.

Question:

How will the the homeless, the near-homeless and the very poor deal with these new health care mandates? Destitute people can't buy anything, and a visit to any emergency room under this new law could land them in jail.

Does Pelosi intend to jail them all? Of course not. There are not enough jails on the planet to jail the Millions of people in America that will never be able to buy insurance or pay the fines. Pelosi and her ilk know this.

Then why the threats?

Because none of this is about health insurance for the uninsured. It's about centralized power and government control. Universal health care is only the wrapping masking this massive grab for power.

Who are these new fines and jail terms really intended for? Not for those who cannot - and never will - pay. It is for those people who the government wants to make examples of, to put the fear of government into those who have had no reason to fear their government before.

So. The poor, who pay no taxes in the first place, are not the target for these fines and jail terms. The rich? No, they are above this sort of fray. The target is the working middle-class that already pay for everything. They cannot be allowed to opt out, or to refuse. It is they who must be taught to fear their government.

This is the first time in the history of the United States that the federal government will be demanding and expecting all the tax-paying citizens - the working middle class - to buy something, something very expensive. The poor will be allowed skate on this. The rich and elite? Well, none of this concerns them.

Bad as that is, the threatened fines or jail time for not buying tells me that we are now under the thumb of a Marxist government that will preside over the sunset of a once great America.

You and I will be able to watch it all.

Congressional Hispanics have threatened to vote against the bill because of a last-minute threat from within the Democratic Caucus to bolster the House bill’s immigration restrictions to match those included in the Senate Finance bill.
And they’re also fighting President Barack Obama, the original sponsor of the language prohibiting illegal immigrants from accessing the public health insurance exchange.

These Congressional "Hispanics" would prefer to kill any American health reform that would prevent illegal aliens from accessing taxpayer provided health care.

To add insult to injury, Senate Democrats have blocked a GOP attempt to require next year's census forms to ask people whether they are a U.S. citizen.

Are they nuts?

The very reason for the census is to determine how many citizens are where, so the Representatives in the House can be evenly apportioned. If you allow non-citizens to be counted, the results are skewed and you get people like these non-American Mexican Representatives demanding crazy things like health care for illegals.

OK. enough is enough. Either they represent Americans or they don't. If they continue to demand that American taxpayers support illegals - or else - get rid of them. Toss them out of office. Be done with them.

If you are one of those legal "Mexican-Americans" that thinks all legal, tax-paying American citizens should be required to pick up the tabs for your Amigos from south of the border, I've had enough of you too. You can either shape up - become a real American - or ship out - back to Mexico - the place you just can't seem to put behind you.

One other thing... All this aggravation about being asked if I want my business conducted in English or Spanish? Stop it. I am an American citizen, I speak English. I do my business in English. You want to be an American citizen also? Then learn, and speak English.

Gay Marriage Down The Tubes In Maine

Maine has denied marriage between same-sex couples, once again demonstrating that when the people speak, the concept of family and traditional marriage wins out.

Five states have legalized gay marriage — Iowa, Massachusetts, Vermont, New Hampshire and Connecticut — but all did so through legislation or court rulings, not by popular vote.

In Portland, Maine, two lesbians, Cecelia Burnett and Ann Swanson had already set their wedding date, but the vote didn't go their way.

Said Cecelia:

I'm ready to start crying. I don't understand what the fear is, why people are so afraid of this change.It hurts. It hurts personally.It's a personal rejection of us and our relationship, and I don't understand what the fear is.

First off, she is half wrong and half right. It's not fear, but it IS rejection. It's a realization by the majority that their aberrant lifestyle and activities have been promoting the destruction of the core family and it's values for decades.

Now, with this gay marriage effort, they are also attacking every religion on Earth by demanding that these religious organizations alter their core beliefs and recognize their "union" by declaring them also married. Just another attempt to have their lifestyle be unconditionally accepted... And enforced by law, if necessary.

That's what is really behind the voter rejection in now 31 States.

There can be no doubt whatever that the homosexual lifestyle must, by its very nature, be anti-family. In this context, I define "family" as a man and a women, having and raising children in a safe and secure home environment. Marriage, a religious concept, is reserved exclusively for this man and woman. A family is not created when two same-sexers adopt a child in an attempt to satisfy their innate urges for parenthood. They cannot be parents. Webster's definition of "parent" is "one who begets or brings forth children". At best, they can only be considered guardians, or long-term baby sitters.

I find it devious and deceitful that homosexuals and lesbians, individuals that fully understand that their sexual practices are condemned by religion, demand to be joined together in a religious ceremony by the very institutions they ridicule and reject because of their beliefs.

I have never met a truly religious homosexual. One cannot be both. So why do they demand to be joined together in a ceremony created by an institution whose beliefs they reject? It's a way to enforce acceptance, nothing more.

Secondly: If homosexuals and lesbians want a licensed civil union, licensed by the State, fine. But this concerted assault on marriage is, in reality, just another assault against normalcy. Added to the ever-present scornful and often vicious attitude towards normal people -even their parents - these endless attacks has alerted the over 90% of Americans who have no desire to champion their lifestyle, and are running out of tolerance for their selfish conduct.

Homosexuals and lesbians had had a great romp through the court systems, gaining unfair advantage under the law. But demanding to be "married" is a bridge too far. They should realize this, be satisfied with whatever gains they have made.

If they keep pushing against the over 90% of Americans that have no use for their sexual practices and lifestyles, Americans who have - so far - remained mute, they will discover what a brick wall is, and how it can fall on them.

Like I have said before: Go live your life. You - and your lovers - will be gone soon enough. But leave our children alone. Stay out of our schools, stay out of our schoolbooks. It's the children who are our future, You are most definitely not. You are a genetic dead-end.

So, Cecilia, understand this:

It's not fear, it's not homophobia. It's the end of a long period in which silence was assumed to be tolerance... For what most people worldwide consider abhorrent behaviour. You are not a "third sex". No matter your education or intelligence, you are still a just a human being that has been wired wrong sexually.

For decades, the majority has dealt with that fact. Now it's your turn.

Hillary... An Inside Peek In Her Mind

She was in Pakistan at the time, and the dear sweet lady must think that what she says waaaaay over there will never reach American ears. That, or she doesn't give a damn anymore what us nobodies hear or think.

Note the quoted piece has "the United States" in parentheses, which I believe to be a mistake.

Hillary wasn't referring to the United States with her "We". She was referring to the small group of governmental elites in Washington, those who have the power to tax, that cozy little group of thieving scum that are robbing us all blind and driving us - and our nation - into bankruptcy and ruin.

She was in no way referring to the great mass of ordinary Americans that inhabit all that "flyover" country, sometimes referred to as the "United States", which to her and her ilk is an idiot-infested wilderness containing a vast herd of slow, stupid and incredibly gullible cattle, capable only of providing an endless stream of money, big breasted young girls for men like her husband, and round-bottomed young boys for men like Barney Franks.

It's not just a peek inside her head as to how she thinks... It's a window to show us how they all think.

It's dismal how history just keeps repeating itself: How ordinary people, not particularly smart, just incredibly lucky, find themselves in extraordinary positions of power and privilege, get drunk on that power, commit horrid abuses against the populace, and end up being dragged out of their marble palaces by their hair and locked up forever.

The only part of all that the United States has not done - so far - is the "dragged out" part. We still think we can vote them out.
