Color Me Dubious

They say she was "sexually assaulted".

As a Western journalist covering the resignation of then-Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, CBS News correspondent Lara Logan was reportedly attacked by a mob of protesters while she and her crew navigated through the crowds in Cairo on Feb. 11.

So, was she repeatedly raped, or just repeatedly manhandled and fondled? There is a huge difference between the two.

Here in America, a man can be charged with "sexual assault" if he so much a looks at a woman's breasts.

Was this gal actually raped - like most will assume - Or was she subjected to manhandling which she decided to call sexual assault?

Can't tell from the article, but it would be reasonable for us to want the real facts, particularly in a case that may carry international consequences.

Addendem:

Viewers of CBS reporter Lara Logan will be pleased to learn today that the sexual assault she experienced in Cairo this past week was not rape. It was, however, brutal and at least 20 minutes long.

Now, they should educate ex-swimsuit model turned journalist Lara on the difference between rape and not-rape, although based on her sordid Iraqi experiences, she definitely knows the difference, so let's not be painting her as a pure-as-snow innocent victim.
