The Viirtual Fence Goes Airborne

What a joke:

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told a Senate hearing Tuesday that unmanned aerial drones will soon fly through Texas skies!

The new "predator bees" have the capability to fly at altitudes used by commercial aircraft, and are designed to enhance intelligence capabilities of federal, state and local law enforcement.

Like I said...what a joke. But it's not funny at all. It's just another bandaid on a gushing wound.

The drones, without any missiles and the like, will be just another TV camera along the border, and will be about as effective as all those cameras on the failed "Virtual Fence". The drone operators will be able to see illegals crossing our border all over the place, but - just like on the virtual fence - by the time somebody is notified as to where and when and actually sends someone to the spot, the lawbreakers will be safely across and will have vanished into the Mexican boroughs found in every border city.

Waste of time, waste of money, waste of resources.

But it will continue to allow millions of future voters (after amnesty) to get situated and settled. It's all politics, nothing more.

Nowadays, what else can we expect from Washington?
