Moo

The USDA has just ordered the nation's largest beef recall, 143 million pounds of beef from a California slaughterhouse.
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture on Sunday ordered the recall of 143 million pounds of frozen beef from a California slaughterhouse, the subject of an animal-abuse investigation, that provided meat to school lunch programs.
TV provided us with a video clip taken by an undercover agent, showing "animal cruelty", as a fork lift carried around and shoved a cow along the floor.

Do you actually think the USDA would recall 143 million pounds of beef becaus some idiot fork lifted a cow?

He was forklifting the cow because it couldn't move itself, or even stand up by itself as seen in the video. The cow was showing some classic signs of Mad Cow disease.

And THAT would be a much more plausable reason why the USDA recalled 143 million pounds of beef.

Let me get this straight ... 143 million pounds of dead cow is recalled because of the alleged cruel treatment of one cow.

Save the dead cows!
